You can get to know him on the computer and take it slow in person,.... tht would definatly help so you can be use to talking to him... and although it'll be hard when you're talking ot him in person, talking to him on the internet or the phone first would be best, so you can feel comfortable with him... If you like him, he's probably nice, and therefore probably wouldn't say something like that. Don't assume he knows - assume he doesn't. That'll help calm you down.
