lost in love...
I am completely head over heals for this guy that I am going out with. I love him with all of my heart and all of my soul. He feels the same way towards me. I was just wondering, we have been going out for 4 months now, we keep getting close to having sex, but I always say that i'm not ready. He listens to me, and he doesn't mind waiting. The problem is, I don't know how to tell if i'm ready or not. How can I tell? Oh and by the way, I am a 14 year old.

It's wonderful that you have found such a great guy. But don't do anything you are not completely comfortable with. Sex shouldn't have any regrets connected to it. If he really loves you he'll wait as long as it takes. I personaly think 14 is way too young to be thinking about sex. Relationships even in highschool rarely last. And what would you do if you happened to become preganat? You are too young to handle that kind of responsibility. You should wait until you are older and have had more experiance with guys and are more mature yourself. Emotions are so high and elevated when your young, it is hard to tell the differance between love and lust. I don't think you are ready for sex if you are asking the question. When you are ready, you will just know. It should feel completely natural.
