Am I too young to wear a thong?

Question Posted Saturday February 21 2004, 1:31 pm

I'm 13 like you and my mom keeps EVERYTHING from me. She didn't tell me about sex, I had to learn about it from my friends and the internet. I think I should be able to wear a thong but I don't know how to ask. How can I bring up the subject without her blowing up? Please, please help me!

Thanks a ton,Mechellmybell

Oh my gosh. I went through almost the exact same thing except my parents are divorced and I live with my DAD! He told me absolutely nothing about anything that a 13 year old should know, I had to ask my friends about it. Do the same thing I did with my dad when I started to shave my legs, just don't tell him. Go shopping with your friends and pick one up, your mother doesn't have to know. Before you know it, you're 16 and she's expecting it.
