If it is a friend, tell him/her that you feel that you've grown apart and that the friendship may not suit both of you anymore. If it is because of something that person did to you, tell them what they did wrong, so they can avoid doing this to someone else in the future. shay*shay answered Wednesday January 7 2004, 5:29 pm: You dont have to tell them unless you're going out. If your not dating just dont pay as much attention to that person as you used to. If you are going out sit that person down and explain that you two shouldnt go out anymore.
