Nobody's saying you can't be what you want. So you're sick of being what they want you to be? When you're saying you want to be a punk, it looks to me like you are just conforming to another stereotype. And if you're tired of conforming to exactly what they want, chances are you'll get tired of being inside the "punk" box and you'll want to break out eventually. And people in your life are not going to be nice. It's called the real world. I suggest you enter it.
