I was shuffling through your column and I am proud of your answers to the "I wanna be a punk" questions because I couldn't quite voice my frustrations to answer them. Kudos to you.

People are stupid because they've no brains. It is inconvenient to have to stop and think about their actions, or how what they say and do effects others. Consideration is just too much to ask of some. Much like grammar is too much to ask, because damnit, that would take effort. And good God, who wants that?
People ARE stupid. Sadly, those of us who are not are in the vast minority.
I think baseball bats could cure this predicament, though.
