I often get that and I'm normally the Lead (Main Character)and I end up studing the week before the show!!! LOL. ANYWAYS, If you have enough time, read your lines and try to figure out what your Character is saying or how your Character would react in that line. Get familiar with your lines be constantly reading the lines over and over and over then once you think you got it, take away the script and say the lines in order. It's okay if you don't have the lines word for word as long as it's close to the line then it's ok. But instead of memorizing JUST your lines, you should memorize 1 or two lines before yours. Even if it's not your line you can know when to say your line. You know what I'm sayin'? After when you have accomplished that, you might want to think about your Characters personality, is she/he funny, sexy, stupid, evil, weird, intelligiant, etc. Once you have conqured those steps say your lines in the mirror. If you feel stupid, then that means your doing it right! If you have ANY questions or concerens about memorizing lines or anything in general feel free to ask and I assure you I will get right back at you ASAP!
Sincerely,
MiSSc
