ok well this is really random, but i can remember reading this book, or maybe it was a movie, idk, but it was about a girl who lived in an apartment but she wanted to live in the apartment across the street because it had shiny windows but when she went there she saw that her apartment had shiny windows. lol does anyone know what book or movie or whatever is ?

upper lip hair, 14/f

The hair on my upper lip is very dark and for quiet awhile I've been shaving it. I hate doing this because it comes back so quickly/prickly plus I feel like a guy. It's not like I had a mustache, just the hair was dark and I made a bad choice. I want to find a way to get rid of it for more than a few days. Bleaching it would do nothing because it would still stay prickly. I've tried a wax kit and it didn't get all of the hair away, plus it hurt. I could get it done professionaly if it comes to that .. but are there any other ways? Thanks.

15/f. I don't know if this is under the right category or not.
Okay. My Nanny(Grandma) is very special to me. She's always been there for me. One of my fondest memories of her is when my boyfriend (of 10 months) and I ending up breaking up.. she dropped all what she was doing just to give me junk food and watch movies with me until I was okay.
So since she's always been there for me and did stuff for me when I needed it.. I want to do something AMAZING for her this holiday season..
not just the perfect gift but I want her to remember this holiday season.
Any Suggestions Are MUCH Appreciated

hey. i'm just wondering what to do in this dj situation. lol
i have these dj's. the guy i like is the dj and his best friend is, but they work together. however, this guy has a girlfriend, and i know all this and all that but the thing is that its my birthday and i don't want to see him there with his girlfriend and he might bring her to the party. what can i do? because i hire them for my parites and they're really good and i trust them with this because they are wonderful and my mom loves them and wants them there because they're very clean and very descent gentlemen. but, how can i make sure his girlfriend doesn't go? thanks a bunch

I'm looking into getting a clear nose retainer. So I'll be able to hide my nose piercing. Does anyone know where I'd be able to find them? Please give specific store names. & Don't say Wal-mart or Target, because you CAN'T get them there. :]

I'm a 21 year old woman and I live alone. My next-door neighbor is a middle-aged man, and I feel that he gives me excess attention. Since I moved here last year, he's left several gifts on my doorstep, including t-shirts, candies, home-grown vegetables, and long letters about how people come into your life for a reason. He often offers to fix up my car or cook for me. Last year, I contacted my property managment and, without naming names, let them know that a neighbor was being too friendly. What scares me is that they knew it was him, and he laid low for a bit. Eventually he confronted me, jokingly asking if I really thought he meant me harm. At one point, a policeman knocked and asked me if I knew my "older, African-American neighbor...

Short hair!

Ah, yesterday this woman cut my hair too short, it is basically right above my shoulder. I usually have medium length hair, and this shortness just does NOT work for me. I look disgusting. Is there something that'll help my hair grow at all? No extensions, thank you.

i was watching this talk show where a guy was 19 and a girl was 16 and they were talking about sex online and he got in trouble with the government. is that possible?? i thought there was a 3 year limit first off, and second, if they were just talking about it openly, how is that commiting a crime?? just wondering, i was confused.
