If you know that you know how to dance, there's nothing to worry about. Before you go to tryouts, try meditating. It's a way to relax yourself & get calm & clear your mind before you go out there.

Hey, you can dance. No problem.

As far as loosening up, you should know warm up exercises and stretches to limber your muscles up ahead of time. That in itself it mind relaxing.

Now speaking of your mind. It's mind over matter and the power of suggestion. Are you going to allow your mind to tell you that you can't do it? Are you gonna allow your mind to cause you to fail with false insecurities? No, you are not.

You are going to psche yourself up and know that you will kick ass just fine.

Try-outs are no more than dancing in lessons or in a production.

You are allowing the word "try-out" to freak you out for failure.

Try-out is the chance and opportunity to show your stuff and get your groove on--so do it. From this moment on, repeat the word "try-out" with the definition and word "show my stuf and moves"....use the word association to psche yourself into your best.

"Try-out" means "show my stuff and get my groove on"............not audition.
