Why do people think anxiety is cute and romantic

As someone who has anxiety, it's not! It's not cute and romantic to avoid things because of irrational fears, to not be able to relax your body, and for your body to always be shaking. Or taking hours to fall asleep to wake up at 3 am having a panic attack, hallucinating. It's not aesthetic to be doing a project in science class that involves heart rate and find out your pulse beats 40 above average even though you eat right, exercise and are generally a healthy person and people being like "???" And not wanting to explain. And being worried about everything, from your friends leaving you even though that's unreasonable because your friends are great and have stood by you through everything but you're afraid if you express your f...

How can i get over my eating anxiety?

Hey. I think I have an eating problem. I won't eat in front of other people and when I do, I feel fat and I feel like a pig. It's gotten so bad that I won't even eat properly in school, and I was against a wall with my bf the other day, and it was awkward because my stomach growled so loud. :(. Also, when I do eat, I eat A LOT. Like I'm not even joking. My stomach has shrank, and I'm seeing a counsellor, but I still won't eat in front of others. It's gotten to the point where I will hide in my room and eat junk foods like cookies and Twixes and stuff. Why do people want to move to the city so badly

12 year old female. I live in the suburbs, but it's like right outside NYC. I've been to the city many times before. I haven't had much experience with rural areas but the more rural places I have been are so much better! There isn't any intensely loud noises from traffic, you can see the stars at night unlike here where the city's building lights and advertisements outshine them so you can only see the moon, planes and a few stars, there's animals other than squirrels, dogs, cats, pigeons and ducks, lots of diffirent plants, and trees, along with a lot of cool geographical features like rivers, lakes, hills. Yet people who live in rural areas want to go to the city and complain about where they are living. Why?

I've only been at my current college one semester. I moved here because the school looked beautiful and it was in a city that I thought would have lots of job opportunities. I still think my school is very pretty and also has yummy restaurants on campus, lots of fun places off campus, and up to date technology but I'm having quite a few other issues here.
1. I can't find a decent job here. I have a great resume and previous experience, but still barely anybody is hiring and the jobs get snapped up so fast or won't work with my school schedule.
2. My campus is noisy and I can't concentrate on studying. The school is doing construction that won't end until 2018 and it's so loud I even have trouble sleeping and do...

I am 20 from and currently pursuing my Engineering. I have 2 more years to complete Masters so i live off my parents' money. My Parents especially dad are what you say "perfectionist". Whatever i have done since child, i was subjected to what can be said as "constructive criticism". One of my close friends are acting like they're mad at me or something. For the past few weeks we would talk almost every night through texts, we've been friends for about 2 years.
The thing that really bothers me about this is now she is not talking to me like at all. I said hey and she replied "what" and I just said that I wanted to talk to her and she just didn't reply. On The X Factor UK, I know that the public votes for which category the judges get. Before that, the decision was made by the producer, but how did the producers decide. For example Louis was on the show for 11 years and he got the groups for 6 of those years (Not continously more like every two years. Did they use a randomizer or did they just pick the categories off the top of their head?

Omg I can't believe I'm writing this but help would be appreciated. I am 14, and I hate my body. My breasts are tiny, my thighs are fat, and I have started to develop spots on my you know... Area. I wash my body at least twice a day and bathe every day. It's quite painful and I'm worried my bf will react bad if he sees. I don't want to go to the doctors because I'm so insecure about my body, and my crippling social anxiety that surrounds my body means that I hate PE at school and I can't go swimming without being self conscious. Twin is lonely-how can I help?

I'm 20/f and I'm worried about my twin sister.
She has had a really bad year in terms of losing different jobs for different reasons and also she doesn't seem to be able to make and keep up with friends.
We're turning 21 next week and having a meal out . I've invited mu friends from uni and the one friend my twin has can not come because it's too late for her to get home. So she won't have any friends there.
We're both pretty shy but I've learnt to come out of my shell since being at uni. She has also lived away from home at a different uni and has struggled to make any friends.
I think it's because when we were growing up I was always the one who made friends with people and she'd just tag along.

How Can I Figure Out What I'm Allergic To (FOOD)

I have a food allergy but I am not sure what to. It is either Avocado or Shell Fish or maybe even both. I love Sushi and have ate it for decades. I usually have AYCE and sample from an eclectic menu.
It never used to affect me at all before. I ate Sushi, loved it and went about my business. However, the last 5 times I ate it at different places I wound up with severe cramps, nausea and the need for a bathroom with to put it mildly insufferable runs and embarrassment as I tried to get home from these places.
I know that some places use oyster or other sauces in cooking and I cut out all deep fried stuff and it happened still 50%of the time and even if I cut crab and shell fish out or Avocado to test.
