I am 15 years old. I enjoy writing, whether it be essays for class, reports, or just stories. Writing is probably the thing that I do best in school. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good college for writing, a college with a well known or successful creative writing class. If anyone can help, the advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks. I work at a tanning salon, so I can tell you just what you need to know. :o)
First of all, if you go out into the sun without any sunblock on, how long does it take you to burn? If LESS than an hour, you want to go three minutes for like three times. If more than an hour, start out with five minutes, then do that three times. If after three sessions of five minutes you didn't turn pink at all, try seven mins. Basically, go up in 2-3 min. increments if you're not turning even the lightest shade of pink. Do not wear sunblock in the tanning bed, it defeats the whole purpose. By going slow, then increasing by a few mins. each time, the melons in your skin get used to the tanning, & that's why eventually you can go for twenty mins. without burning. Ask the salon you goto for the best lotion for you.

If you think he still likes you, then talk to him. BUT be sure he does still like you, otherwise it'll be kinda awkward. Also, he might tell your best friend, + she'll get mad at you. Otherwise, you just have to ignore your feelings for him since he is with another girl. It'd be rude to bring it up, y'know? I hope I helped + good luck!

I like this guy that goes to another school and he's older, but really cute and nice and everything else there is to be. I see him at church and if I smiled at him or something, would he get a hint or anything? I look at him a lot and sometimes he looks back but would it be better if I smiled? And sometimes to attract attention, my friends act dumb and stuff but would it be better to act normal and not mess up and stuff? Find out a few things that interest him, + think of a cute way to bring up the topic. He'll think it's cool that you know about it. Only act "dumb" if that's how you really act. Like, not saying you're dumb, but sometimes I act immature + silly, so I shouldn't act like I'm 1OO% mature + proper cuz the guy will need to see the real side of me from the start. Does that make sense? Also, I think you should smile if he looks at you, or maybe even wink if you feel confident enough.=) Good luck!

okay i keep haveing the smae problem with my friends. This one girl always takes the other ones side because she is like obesessed wiuth her and she doesnt want the girl to get mad at her and then i am left with no friends what do i do.

They don't sound like very good friends. Girls that suck-up to other girls aren't good to be around cuz they're insecure + obviously not very nice if she just always take the other girl's side, no questions asked. Try sitting down w/ them + talking to them. If they deny what they're doing, or say they'll stop but don't, etc, you should probably make new friends. I've learned that depending on friends isn't the best way to go. Most of 'em are gonna let you down anyway. Good luck, though. I hope they listen to you + stop acting rude!

I would cut back on red meat. I lost a lot of weight just from not eating pork or cow. Also, try walking 1O mins. before you eat + 1O mins. after you eat. Make sure to do some sort of work-out everyday -- like maybe just 1OO crunches + 5O jumping jacks one day, then running .5-1 mile a day. Good luck=).

If it's fine hair, try using Veet dipilitory ((sp?)) cream. It's a cream like the Veet razor-less shaving thing, but you leave it on for 5-9 mins. + the hair is gone for weeks. If it's thick hair, wax it like the others said. I suggest Nair wax. It doesn't hurt too bad.

I think it depends on what you started out to be anyway, cuz all girls are different sizes. I'm sure you're not loose, though. But.. I don't suggest having sex at 14..

Well,where should I start? My parents split up when I was 5 1/2. I have moved about 6 or 7 times.My dad doesn't pay child support.My parents call each other retards,bitch,idiot,bastard,loser,and so much more.Now we live in an one bedroom apartment with my grandmother.we don't have enough money for me to buy a skirt or somethin.My mom pretty much depends on me for money.I don't do that good in school either,and i think it's cuz of all the stress.Now i don't no what I should do. Okay, so I started school about 5 months ago, and there are a few girls (I'm not going to say their names) and they've been really mean to me. Ignoring them is the best key. They'll realize they don't phase you + move onto someone else. If they still keep bothering you, tell a guidance counselor. Take it from someone who knows.. Same thing was happening to me, but I thought going to the counselor was being too much a wuss, so I didn't go. Next thing I know, I'M getting expelled + the administrators are like, "You should've told us about her bullying you. We take that seriously + would've expelled her". Oi. Good luck!

You don't. They only like you because you're pretty + I'm assuming you have a lot of money. Wrong way to go, sweetie. I had a lot of friends because of that, but then I got expelled, + guess how many friends I had left.. one, + we've been friends since 4th grade. Good friends are hard to find, + it doesn't sound like your current friends will be life-long friends.

Figure out why they turned on you. If it's a legit reason, then accept it + try to make things better. If it's not a good reason, then make new friends. Either way, try to fix the reason why they turned on you. Does that make sense? Hopefully! Haha, good luck=).

It depends on how close you are to him. If you two are like "in love", then he'll really like something you made yourself, accompanied by a letter explaining all the reasons you love him + stuff like that. If you two aren't all that serious yet, get him some silly gifts that hafta do with stuff he likes -- or stuff having to do w/ inside jokes, if you have any. Like my ex likes The Homiez so I got him some Homiez figurines. Good luck!=)
