ok, i have a sister wh ohas these really digusting habits and i dont know how to make her stop. heres what she does:
1)picks at her nose(she dont eat it or anything, just picks at it..eew)
2)chews on her hair(and sometimes pulls it out and chews on it.i think one time she actually swallowed it.)
3)bites her fingernails(not just the nail, but the cuticle and skin around the nail..she'l just bite at it, rip it off, chew it and swallow it.its so wrong!!!)
4)picks at scabs so she can "taste the blood"(enough said )

Any ideas on how to make her stop???

Confront her and say what she's doing is really really gross.

Give her an incentive to stop. Like promise to take her out to a movie or something if she doesn't do it for a week or something..

sO...i've been a vegatarian my whole life... but i never have ne protein! is that bad? what can i eat? (not eggs) and am i really unhealthy?

Eat nuts.
I'm allergic..
but there's lots of things that include nuts which include protien.

Also you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO take a vitamin every day (like Flinstones or Bugs Bunny found at your local grocery store) or you won't get all of those supplements that you're supposed to get when you eat meat.

This is going to sound really lame. But here we go! Ok I like this guys and we were talking once and he said I was the only girl he wanted to go out with and that made my day cuz I really like him in all. (when we were talking it was yesterday) today at the pep rally I saw him with another girl and he looked like he was flurting with her. What should I do?

Ask him politely what he was meaning.

Try to find a way that makes him comftorble about telling you and not to feel all bad if he did.

I am pretty actively involved in musical theater and have an audition coming up soon! For my audition, I need 2 sing a song, but the problem is, I am having trouble finding a good song 4 my voice. Does any1 have any song suggestions for an alto girl? (Broadway or Disney songs are preferred most by the directors, but I'm willing 4 other suggestions 2!) Thanks all!!

There's this kid at my school...we are both freshman and at this oriantation, we were together a lot...( in the same groupd )Well, now i see him one to two times a day, and i dont have much time inbetween classes b.c they have a strict schedule...=(...Anyways, i really like this kid...I had the dream that you have, like when you are crushing...well I saw him today...and i literally stopped breathing...I`m trying to get his screen name and im hoping i can talk to him sometime...but my question is...What can i do to get him to notice me? Well, try to take routes that he would most likely take. Try to get his screenname then. Nobody really runs in the halls the whole day, so you'll probably be able to catch him. Or find out his screenname from someone else and start emailing him. It's a way to talk to him too..

Next dance ask him if he would like to come with you. Start it slow. Become friends and then start to progress. Take it slow so he won't feel pressured to like you and you can tell if he does and doesn't.

Also, a boy could seem amazing in the beginning, but int he end you could find out that he's a stinky person with "problems" (like being immature)

i just found out i get my braces in 13 days any tips to help the process?

It's a great feeling. They'll be sore (you can't chew anything) for a few days your first time, but after that, it's totally great. The only downside is that they're sore once in a while, but people don't think you're ugly, or stupid if you have braces.

I've had them for two years and It's not htat bad!

my parents don't like my boyfriend..because i went out with him before and he treated me pretty bad..but i really think he has changed but i don't know if my parents think that or not! what can i do to make them gain trust back in him? because if they don't trust him that means i don't get to see him as often?

Tell your parents that you think he's changed. Make sure they know what you two do on dates and make sure you tell them what you did on your date so they can see if he's changed or not.
If they still don't give in, then it's probably in your best intrest. Respect their descision. There's other guys in this world.

Pick one person you thiink that respects you the most and cares about you the most.
