I'm 5'2" and weigh about 105 pounds. I am perfectly aware that I am NOT overweight. If anything, I am a few pounds underweight, and have no plans to lose weight. I have never been self concious about my weight.
Why do these girls who weigh even less than me and are taller than me insist on obsessing about losing weight!? Day after day I see these questions. "I weigh 50 pounds and am about 6 feet, am I fat like OMGZ?!?!" (Obvious exaggeration, you get the point.) What is wrong with everyone??... I don't want to hear that BS about "oh the media blah blah"... everyone blames EVERYTHING on the media. Why are all these little girls so freakin' impressionable?! I was never so impressionable to feel fat just because there was some anorexic model on the cover of some magazine. I think it's pathetic. Why are people like this? (link)

don't worry about what people say especially girls people like them are what makes todays teenagers so self consious about themselfs I was pretty heavy too but because of girls who are skinny i went on a starvation diet i nearly died you shouldn't listen to people like that don't thing your overweight because theres so many people way heavyer who are facing bigger problems than you like making friends getting skinny or sitting with the cool group just be your self and eventually youll my more self confident

I love living where I do but my mother wants to move away. Not far, but where I am I can walk right into town and I like that. The area is really nice too. I'm not leaving behind my friends or anything as I will stay at the same school and I have a couple of friends living in the town my mum wants us to move to. It's also walking distance from the train station.
Basically, it's not too bad but I can't feel good about it because I really do love this area. Does anyone have any tips for making the move happier/making me see all the good points of it? (link)

i just moved and its really far from my skool so my parents hired a taxi driver for me anyway moving isn't that bad just think of all the things you will like about your new house and think of all the embarrising and bad momoents in your like when you lived at your old house and that wil make the move better and make you feel more cofortable

you have to be confident just go up to her and tell her everything if she doesn't feel the same way then go back to friendship you shouldn't feel scared of getting put down or ruining your friendship over something like this she probably likes you too you just have to tell her

Well, my best friend died exactly a year ago as of yesterday. I'm not sure if many of you are familiar with my question I posted last year about her death, but so you can hear the whole story here's the link: http://advicenators.com/qview.php?q=248637
I've had a hard time dealing with her death, mentally and physically and I've been really depressed. I still blame myself for her death every day because I still feel that if I were there it wouldn't have happened.
I really need help coping with it... I've tried to keep myself busy with fencing, my boyfriend, my friends and schoolwork.. But nothing really seems to keep my mind fully off of what happened.
This past week, when her anniversary came up was when I really started to get depressed. I've gone to therapy because of her death and also because of other problems and my therapist keeps telling me that it wasn't my fault and that I couldn't have prevented it from happening. But if you really think about it, I COULD saved her. She kept begging me to go to the party with her but I said no because I wanted to be with my boyfriend. I think that if I wasn't being so selfish in wanting to spend so much time with my boyfriend, then I WOULD have gone to the party. My ex boyfriend WOULDN'T have slipped X in her drink he WOULDN'T have raped her and she WOULDN'T be dead.
I talk to her family almost every day and they always tell me that it's not my fault... But I still feel like it is.
How can I stop feeling like this is my fault? And how can I finally get closure on her death? (link)

i know how u feel my friend died on boxing day in vancouver you pobably saw it on the news anyway the only way you can forget about her death is if you make a new friend and forget about your past and remember its not your fault and it never will be

I'm 14 years old, and there is this guy at my school that I have a crush on. I'm pretty sure he only likes me as a friend(for now). I'm trying to get him to like me more than just a friend. So, he has asked me to hang out with him and acouple friends two or three times, but whenever he askes me I always have plans already. Now he thinks I don't want to hang out with him. What do I do? jewellery, flower chocolates send her a big boquet of her favorite flowers with a card maybe have someone deliver them for you or maybe even a romatic boat cruise or rent her favorite movie sit infront of the fireplace make hot chocolate have a couple of glasses of champane have a nice dinner something along those lines

you could go on a really romantic boat cruise and have a nice picnic their on the boat you know the usuall champane and maybe even or you could sit in front of the fireplace watch a romantic movie have champane hot chocolate or something and just have a nice time together.

Hey well my parents are gettin a divorce and sense then i have had to put alot of things aside for myself. Like i love playin sports i have played basketball, soccer, v-ball, track, cross country i meen alot of sports and sense my parents are getting a divorce i have to watch my brother an sister alllll the time!! So i wasn't able to do stuff "sports" that i wanted to do and sense then i never get to do anything 4 me what should i do?? tell them how you feel and tell them that its not fair to keep you at of your daily activities and also tell them that its hard for you too and if your not aloud out everyday ask if just a couple times a week

I'm sixteen years old, I finally have a boyfriend. lol. We've been together for two & a half weeks. My mom doesn't know about him yet. He & two best friends keep telling me to tell my mom, but I don't know how to come out and just say it. She used to not want me to have a boyfriend a few years ago. i can tell that your going through alot of pain the best thing for you to do is confront your parents there going through the same pain you are if you talk to them maybe you can come up with a solution to your problem your parents will totally understand even if they do get a divorce you'll feel as if your still one family if you just talk to them.

i think you should stay with dark brunette yes they would be able to dye your eyebrows but it stings sometimes and no its not true your eyebrows should be the same colour or maybe 1 shade darker but never lighter.

wet your hair make sure its really wet blowdry it then straighten it then it will be straight for atleast 24 hours or even more

I just made a new friend from volleyball at school, my best friend is jealous because now i also hang out with my new friend. she says i ignore her but never do...sometime it feels like she's the one ignoring me like shes mad at me. We even had a fight just yesterday but i dont think the problem is solved because she still acts different around me.

maybe you should interdouce them and sit them down and let them talk it out the problem is not between you 2 its between the your old friend feels jelouse because she doesn't know your new friend that well just give them time they'll find something in common.

14/f........one of my new friends named kate switches the guys that she likes pretty often. the thing about her is that she likes a guy until she knows that they like her..kinda weird i kno but anyways.....she started liking this one guy named phil...later he liked her and she was over him. then she liked some guy named john...she got over him b/c of a new guy..miles...at this point she still likes miles but here's the thing...i like phil..i mean i dont really know him but i kinda like him. i kno that if i start talking to him and stuff that kate will SERCRETLY be a little defensive...i'm just worried that if i make a move she'll find out and get mad at me either for making a move, not telling her, or w/e..anybody have any ideas about this situation??

i think you shold go for it i don't see a reason not to if shes keeps switching i think its okay for you to date him even if she does get mad its her fault she left him so that makes him intirley yours.
