alrighty this could be long so bear with me
well hello everybody, how are you?
i'm pretty good, except for one little thing
little bit of backstory here:
a couple of years ago *two, to be exact* i volunteered at a camp so i could get my 20 service hours for 8th grade *i ended up with like...100*. well i met this girl that was also volunteering there, and we became friends over the summer, and did some things as friends with a group until around christmas. then we sort of just stopped talking- we weren't mad at each other, we just became really really busy. so i saw her at random places throughout the last year and a half or so, but never really talked to her a whole lot
well fast forward to now, and i've begun to volunteer at the camp again- and guess who's there! yep, the same girl! and she looks beautiful and is just such a nice person, but i can't seem to talk to her- everytime i get a chance i freeze up and can't keep the conversation going (it doesn't help that she's in a swimsuit, either- she only works on pool days). so what can i do? i think she kinda likes me because she was trying to get the extremely annoying little 8 year olds to leave us alone for a while so we could have some alone time, but they wouldn't so we never really got to be alone...
so what can i do? i have her AIM SN but she hasn't been on in a while...
i was thinking about asking her to go see a movie this weekend or sometime next week...would that be a bad idea? i am just completely retarded when it comes to this kind of thing and any help is greatly appreciated!

You should absolutely ask her to go to the movies. Don't be worried or nervous when asking her. She obviously likes you because she wanted to be alone with you without the 8 year olds. When your talking to her just pretend that it is 2 years ago when you guys talked a lot more and were closer to eachother. If you act comfortable then she might too and you guys might talk more and more. The day before you ask her you might want to think of some topics to talk about with her and then once you've talked for a while ask her if she wanted to go to the movies sometime. Don't call it a date because that might scare her away, so keep it casual tHE first time and see what happeNs. Good Luck!

My sister Melissa [19] found a kitten in a box at a lake near by my house, she went around the neighborhood and asked if it was anyones kitten, all answered no.
My sister and I [14.5] decided to keep it, we took it to the vet and they said its VERY healthy and its a perfect kitten.
We told my mom she said no, but we already spent 500 bucks on the shots and everything! We love this cat and my sister and I cried for hours last night, not able to sleep. My mother said she will give my sister 500 bucks to pay back, but she wants the cat out!
We begged my mom to show her that we are mature enough to take care of the kitten, she kept saying no.
She said the kitten will ruin her furniture. We already have an older cat, she hates her but she will have to deal. And Olive is declawed, already knows how to use a litter box, and is very nice.
What can we say to her to allow us to keep it?
And adding more info.. when my sister and i were very little, were 5 years of age apart. and she still tells us to do this. if we want it "GO FOR IT" but she wants us to go for something better.
HELP! we really want this kitten!

You're telling your mom that you can and will take care of the cat but you haven't actually showed her. I know this sounds crazy but you could make a powerpoint supporting you and your sister. My friend made a powerpoint and got to get 2 dogs, and her mom is pretty hard to convince. I have 3 cats and one of them has no claws, so she never ever ruins the furniture. Good Luck!

My friend and I were talking about good come backs because my friend was in a fight with another one of her friends. And we were joking how there could be a goodcomebacks.com. My friend actually tried that and there is a website called goodcomebacks.com with pretty good combacks on it. Just be careful because you don't want to stoop down to her level and say all the things she said to you back. She is just being a bitch and I don't know anyone who wants to be a bitch.

This is long, I'm saying this now ..
Okay I met this boy, Ben.. its not that important but when we met we were sorta flirting but we only talked for like 5 minutes. so I told my friend to hook me up with him[as a joke/not really] and he goes Ben do you remember Melissa and Bens like yeah and my friends like do you wanna go out with her and Bens like well I dont know her that well && I dont like having a girlfriend and then my friend told him I just wanted to hook up[well texted him so I dont think he got it]
Well I IMed him, and well hes not too talkative, and he wasnt for awhile but then, we actually talked for a little bit about basketball and stuff.
On Friday my friend Lexi and I went to a festival, and when I first got there he went walking over towards us and then his friend said something so he went with them. Well my friend Lance is his neighbor so they're friends too, but I was getting boyfriends and dumping them? like fake ones ya know haha, but one told me he was cheating on me, so I went up to Lance[he was with ben] and said Lance your my new boyfriend! and Ben kinda just looked at me and said something to his friend and walked away, but Ben would keep walking real close to me, but not talk and then he'd look at me for a few seconds and walk away. So I finally went over to him when he was with my friend Lance and Zach. He starting making fun of my foot, cause I have really small feet. He goes "What size shoe is that? A 3?!" and I said "No, it's a 7 but its too big." Then there was this flamingo clawish thing, I'm not sure how to explain it, but he was being gay and grabbing guys balls with it, and then I told him to do it to this kid Tom and he was like No he'll get mad.. but I told him to just do it so he did and Tom sort of did get mad. Then this fight broke out and I went with Ben and Lance & Zach went somewhere else, and I asked Ben what happened and he said he didn't know, but he was going to get some girls with this thing[flamingo claw] so he went and starting grabbing girls butts. Then I was with some of my friends and[okay ben is right behind us] my friend jeff asks who do i like and then max starts yelling MELISSA LIKES BEN! and I was trying to convince him I didn't so I said I liked Timmy, and they let it go. Well right after that Ben came over and my friend Max was like Melissa you don't even have to get on your knee's cause your so short and Ben was dying laughing and was like oh thats a good one and I was talking about this bruise on my knee and Ben's like oh what were you doing?! and I just laughed and started talking about something else, then he asked if I was leaving with Lance cause they were and I said no and hes like oh okay peace.
I talked to him on AIM and I thought the conversation was pretty good, but I'm not so sure. I like him a lot, but I honestly don't think he likes me, well I think he might a little bit.. The reason I think this is because of my friends, they said if he didn't like you whenever he talked or walked by he would be with girls. Although whenever he wasn't looking at me he was with a lot of girls and they were all over him, but idk. What do you think?

I think that in the first place you should've told Ben that you like him, instead of trying to make him think otherwise. Maybe you should tell him the truth. Talk to him on AIM when you tell him or in person which ever you feel more comfortable. Tell him that you dont like those other guys and that you like him. Say sorry that you lied you just were under a lot of pressure at the moment and you thought he would think your weird if you said you liked him, and you didnt want to ruin anything that could happen.

My dad has been acting all mean lately. He used to be so nice and we would always hang out. Like tonight, I was in his office because he was trying to fix my computer, and then he said I have to concentrate, get out. So I was with my dog and I was about to leave when all of a sudden he tried to kick me and hit me. He NEVER did anything like that to me and he doesn't drink or anything. I ran to my mom in her room and he was about to throw my computer. He also canceled our trip tomorrow. It was really hard to breathe and my mom said he was very mad to. I'm really scared and sad. Now my trips canceled because my stupid dad. No offense but I think I hate him. I hate my dad! (link)

If your dad has been acting like this you might want to give him some time to figure things out. You two obviously had got along well before he just might be going through a rough patch somewhere in his life. I think that if he keeps physically hurting you, you should tell someone you trust. Like a teacher or friend
