Well, a rumor got spread about me at school last year that was completely untrue, and someone who was one of my absolute best friends believed it. He's a boy, and I'm a girl, and I guess it was just very dissapointing to have him believe it..I wouldn't have expected it out of him. (and the rumor didnt have anything to do with another guy, or him, or anything) Well, after he heard about it he stopped talking to me. Just completely ignored me, etc, so I did the same back. And it was hard, because we were very good friends, but hey, I didn't want to be friends with someone who would think I'd sink that low.
Anyway, two nights ago he called me and just out of the blue asked ME why I stopped talking to him. I explained the whole situation & he sounded very sorry. He told me if I ever have a problem to come to him about it. He said he hated when we weren't talking, hanging out, etc.
My problem is, I just don't know if I can believe it. He is a VERY sincere person, that's why I was so shocked when he just believed the rumor about me, and wouldn't come to ME to ask me about it. But idk, we talked for an hour on the phone and he said he hated that I didn't talk to him, etc, and that we basically weren't friends. I think I'm just confused, and wondering if I should believe that he didn't talk behind my back and stuff the whole time he believed the rumor? (link)

i think you should believe him beacuse he wouldt havejust called you out of the blue i had friends that did the same to me we didnt talk for over 6 months it was really hard and you only lost 1 friend i lost 3. then one day my friend said she was sorry and i believed them and things worked out great!!!

Last july i met this guy at my church. ever since that day ive liked him alot. Wednesday my church youth group had this get together & he was there. But he had this girl with him. i got really jealous and upset about him bringing a girl around me.
He knows i like him alot & he has known for atleast 5 months. At the time i told him he had a girlfriend but they broke up 2 days after i told him. On myspace hes always posting bulletins about how he hates seeing those happy couples around kissing anding hugging eachother. He hates it because hes not with a girl.
I dont understand him because i want him more than anything. He says that no girl really likes him when he likes a girl. He cant always get tht girl he likes he should give the that likes him a chance.
I hate when he post these bulletins because he makes me feel sort of invisible.
Me and him never hang out. We talk online & at church. I want him to talk to me more then just that.
I feel like im holding on to liking him for no reason. He post all these bulletins about how he cant find a Girl to be happy with. Should i say anything to him? Or just give up on wanting to be closer to him?

This is going to be long.
My best guy friend, Sam, I don't know what is going on with him! He would always flirt with me and talk to me. I heard him say that I was hot to one of his friends at the beginning of the year if that matters.
I also heard his friends tryings to guess who he was going to ask out and they kept saying my name and he didn't respond. All he did was stare at me and that day in my last class. right before the bell rang, his friend was like, "Do you like Sam?" and I was like, "Ummmm...No. Why?" and hes like, "Oh, just wondering." and he went out the door.
on my birthday I had invited sam to my party, which was that weekend. I took 10 of my best friends to a movie. While we were in line waiting for the popcorn, he asked if i was going to the dance on tuesday and I said, "Oh. Probably." he smiled and looked at his friend and the exchanged some weird look and then his friend said, "sam doesnt have anyone to go with." and they both stared at me expecting me to say something but I just said, "oh." and we went to go sit down.
the week of the dance, he asked my best friend, Sarah, out. She kept saying, "he barely even talks to me!" but he would only talk to her or hug her when I was around.
during the last class of the day, his best friend asked me again, "would you ever go out with sam?" and I said, "uhhhhhhh i dont know! why do you keep asking me that?!" and he was like, "Dunno..HE MIGHT LIKE YOU!" and I gave him a weird look and he said, "IM JOKING! IM JOKING!" but he didnt sound like it.
But, he broke up with sarah and started going out with taylor again and all he did was ignore me and he wasn't nice to me at all unless she wasn't anywhere close to us. I talked to jake and he said that sam answers when he calls but I've tried to call him many times over the summer but he never answers the phone.
So, I don't understand what he's doing! Does he like me or not?! (link)

the best way to stop or to try to stop is stay away from the computer for a couple of days or if tht doesnt work then tell a friend ur problem and have them make sure u dont doit trust me it sounds stupid but it works ive been doing advice coloums for over 3 years
