my friend, male 17.
is going to jail for taking his mom's car and driving it to school with a suspended license.
his sister came to be bawling today.
and she told me what happend.
and she basicly thinks she is turning him in.
she cant take it.
i mean its like turing in your own brother!
but she had no choice.
its been bugging me all day.
what am i to do?
i care about him so much that its bugging me like alot.

Mybe this will help her, what if she knew about the car didnt turn him in and a week later he went to jail for a far worse crime for a way longer period of time! Sometimes a little good CAN go a long way, and if more of our family members would step up and snitch then maybe we would be more accountable for our actions! Now as for you, i think you should be happy that your friend is learning lesson for the both of you and hopefully this lesson will bring him to a place where you both will be freinds for a long time(face to face):)

I had freshlook colored contacts: brown color. And everytime i put them in my eyes, they burned. Is it because my pupil was to big for the lense at the time or is it not just that? What would you recommend best, acuvue colours or freshlook? Because im running out of my contacts and i would like the reg. contacts like acuvue oasis and colored contacts. What work better for you? I have worn contacts for like ten plus years and my contacts only burn when i dont rinse them(with the rinse solution) long enough or when they are brand new out the packet and i dont rinse them first before using either way rinse rinse rinse these are your eyes you only get one pair(unlike you disposable contacts)let me know if this works
ps if rinsing dosent help then use a eye rewetting drop after inserting your lens

okay so i didnt know what category this would fall under so i guess here is good. =]
I live with my nana and she has back neck and knee problems. so i wanted to get her a tempurpedic (spelling) pillow for x-mas and the website asks for shoulder measurements...it also says if you do it wrong then it could be bad for you so should i just get a reagular tempurpedic pillow that says it could help for the neck with out haveing to take measurements? or is there anything anyone else knows of that might help?

can you afford laser hair removal? no, then try bleaching it worked almost just as good for me, let me know how it worked for you!
p.s.s hansen is not a good hair removal kit by any means, in other words it sucks!

ohk, well theres this banging kid who sits infront of me in my one class. he always use to talk to me, but i didnt know what to say so i would like hardly talk back, and like i guess be mean (sorta). well now he thinks i like dont like him and i always seem in a bad mood. how do i get a conversation starter? haha and be nicer? i was just like you are until i got happy. Happy is as happy does if you feel good on the inside then it will come out of you like glowing sun rays. find things to feel good about like waking up on time (or late!:)) or having a good run in the morning or eating your fav bowl of cereal in peace then face your day happily and watch how people react to you it will be so natural that you will not believe it! in other words, be yourself in the best way possible acknowledge how it has been revealed to you be happy and do it! good luck!
p.s. have you seen the commercial where one good deed done is passed around until everyone in its path has done a good deed? or the movie fallen where the negative energy is passed from one person to another, this is sort of like your situation, soooo pass on good energy and this is what you will get back.!

Okay to start out i've had this dream for a long time now. Ever since I got my height! I want to be a model. Recently I lost a very special uncle. He also told me that we were going to move away and he was going to be my agent. He alwas made me have this hope that I could do so. Now that hes passed away I really want to do this, not only for me but for him. I have a problem though. My body has well.. been down in the dumps. I weigh 156 lbs, I'm 5'10 and a 1/2, and i have D's. It seems like I have no wheel power to exercise or lose weight. I don't know what to do. I also have a thick frame.. I'm skinny but wide. anyone have any tips on how to make my frame smaller or how i can lose weight? I don't care if its healthy or unhealthy. I just don't want to make myself throw up. Thats the only thing i don't want.. someone anyone.. please help me! :D (link)

I have modeled and i to am 5'10 and I to was 160lbs
to lose down to 139lbs which made me a size 5-6 which was still to big in model land i did the following:
exercise: cardio 5-6 miles a day everyday
weight training light weights
eat healthy: tuna in water and lettuce and tomato for lunch and a banana for a snack to help your muscles
special k for b-fast and dinner
drink water
if you want it work hard for it, it will not happen over night
this was hard but i lost my weight in like a month and a half
stay focused, do research, be your own agent, find out your best asset and market yourself around it. YOU are your sales person, you are your product. look at your product and determine how it can benefit the buyer then sell it! I wish someone would have told me that.
also, beauty without brains=bankrupt!(speaking from personal exp)so go to college or get a trade, the skills you gain from education will enable you to get a high paying job so that you can enhance your product! (unless you have a trust fund)
and always follow your dreams for yourself

Okay, i know this is going to sound really comceted, but theres this guy in my school, who really likes me! But i dont like him, and he follows me everywhere, and keeps asking me on dates and stuff, and me being a softie, make up an excuse! Then he asks again and again! But i really don t like him, and all my friends say that im all he talks about, and that he likes me! Hes always coming to my locker to hug me, and puts his arm around me, and i like this other guy and the other guy thinks that i like him and i DONT! its really frustrating! I need advice!

i totally agree with smileyygirl. I was in your same situation all of my young life only because i didnt want to hurt anybody's feelings but i was hurting my self by not standing up for myself and stating what i did not want. be bold, be kind. tip: it helps to write down and rehearse what you will say and get feedback from your friends or even your mom before you confront this guy this will help weed out negativeness in your words. i hope this helps good luck:)

Over the past few months I've been noticing an increase in scars...
I've always scarred easily but it was usually just on my legs. I scar from every little thing - bug bites, and any kind of scrape. It sucks, but I'm use to my legs looking like it was hit by shrapnel. I know it will fade in time.
But the thing is, lately I've been getting scars on my face and my hands too. Every pimple I get lingers into a scar...I don't get pimples that often so I'm not horribly concerned - but its my face! Not only that but I have to use an oven mitt to play with my kitten or the little tiny scratches it makes turn into scars! Its ridiculous.
My skin isn't dry, or anything like that. This doesn't make sense. I've searched google, ask.com, and wikipedia but to no avail. Nothing would explain why I scar so easily.
Anyone know something I don't?

if you have a scratch and after the healing process it doesnt fade completely even after cocoa butter and lightening creams you should think about it being an internal problem like not drinking enough water to help the cell renewal process which is very important and taking a multivitamin with vit-c(ascorbic acid)to help the healing process
in short, drink water! cut out smoking(if you smoke) drinking alcohol and any other teratogens(drugs). Remember that what you put in your body will show up on the outside sooner or later.
try this for seven-ten days: 8-10 glasses of water a day and use a exfoliating scrub while showering/bathing once daily and apply a cell renewal lotion at night i.e. nivea or cocoa butter. let me know how it works!

okay. so this is a long story but theres a point!
soo. my friend isnt really being a friend and shes moving at the end of the year.. well i kinda like this guy and she just thought he was alright and the next thing i knew they were talking and she was saying stuff like i didnt know him like she did and they really like eachother and all this other stuff.. now theyre not talking anymore because they got in a stupid fight and they dont evn say hey or anything and i really want to get to know him but idk what to say.. he doesnt know i like him and she doesnt know either.. were total opposites-- hes in a metal band and im a Varsity basketball cheerleader-- i dont know what to say to him.. what should i talk about.. i mean its not like he likes me.. i feel like im invisible to him.. give me some ideas please because hell be on i/m in a while and i really want to talk to him and really do get to know him and prove her wrong.. too much drama, think about this, how long have you been friends with your homegirl if it has been for a long time and even though she is moving you will remain friends then forget about getting to know him
but if you could care less about keeping in touch with her(outa sight outa mind) then tell your 'friend' and take your time and be yourself and let fate unfold, as for stuff to talk about math class, colleges, football, military and how often does he do things for the people in his life this will help in knowing what type of person he is! good luck:)

There is this guy I have been like in love with every since i met him, witch was about 2 months ago. if this guy is interested in you then you would know it. Think about a guy who does like you, now think about this guy, compare and thats how you find out if he is interested. it sounds as if you are young, so remember that if you like him and tell him and he rejects you, be bold and courageous and move on gracefully! good luck:)
