I got my ears pierced about a year ago and that was the 3rd or 4th time they've been pierced. They're now only about halfway closed. I don't want to waste the money getting them done again. So I was wondering how I could do it myself. And on a scale of one to ten(1 being like pinching your ear the hardest you can. 10 being the worst pain you could imagine) I don't have the highest pain tolerance in the world. But its not the lowest either. The last time I got them pierced w/ a gun I shed one tear (although this time I'm doing it with a needle) and that was a year ago. I could probably stand a 2 or 3. I pierced my own ears about 6 times when I was a teenager. Yes, it hurt...about a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale but I did it anyway. I would still go to the jewelry shop to get it done. Or you can buy the gun yourself. Sally's beauty supply has them or you can purchase on line. Doing it with a needle takes so long and your ear will prolly swell up.

Ok well my friend's sweet 16 is coming up and it's an indoor pool party. And I'm not sure what to wear because I can't wear bathing suit bottoms or shorts because you can see my self-harm scars. so maybe someone can help me figure out what to wear. And please don't give me answers like "you shouldn't self-harm, it's unhealthy and bad" I know it's unhealthy and what not but you don't know me and what I've been through. all I'm asking for is advice what to wear not my depression/self harming issues. so if you could help that would be great.
thanks !

For the last few months, I've had this ricidulous urge to become pregnant (I'm only 16). At first I thought it was a phase but lately all I think about is how wonderful it would be to have a child. I understand how insane this is; I don't have a job, I haven't even finished high school yet and I'm certainly not ready for a baby.
I started birth control 3 months ago and take it religiously but one night I had sex with my boyfriend and for some reason he was freaked out that I would get pregnant. All I could think about was how happy I would be if I was.
I've also had a few dreams about being pregnant and having miscarriages (over the past 6 months-not consistently)
This doesn't seem normal to me and I want these thoughts to stop. I would never do anything intentional to get pregnant so thats not the issue, trying to find a way to stop this crazy idea is what's bothering me. I don't want to be pregnant because of Jamie Lynn Spears or because I'm trying keep my boyfriend around (we have a healthy relationship). Is it a possibility that it could just be hormones and I will get out of this phase? :/ Thanks. (link)

I am 35 and take it from me, it's a TOUGH job. Perhaps you are looking for something/someone to love and who will love you unconditionally. I had my daughter at the age of 19 and I had a job and was still living at home. It's really hard. I look back now and see that I wanted someone to love me. Of course I thought it would be fun and cute to have a baby then, but looking back, I see what I was looking for. I remember ALL of my money going to daycare and I was so upset. I love my daughter with all of my heart, but take it from me. Wait a while, at least until you are 20. I am 35 and thought I was pregnant in October and I was horrified. Babies cost mucho money!

I pay my daughter's mother $430.00 in child support every month and she expects me to pay additional money for a cell phone to keep in contact with our child? Should I pay for my daughter's cell phone or is keeping her in contact with me her mother's job? (link)

If the cell phone is an extra $20 bucks a month, sure. But if it's one of these fancy ones with all the interent access and text messaging for like $100 a month, I say forget it. However, in general, I say that the child support should go towards the wupport of the child. And I would classify the cell phone as supporting, you know in case of emergency.
