Thank you for the advice before about getting my tongue pierced... the piercer i went to said they could do it with the clear ball on top... but anyways... I get cold sores a lot... but hardly ever on my lips... I currently have one now... but its on my chin... I just got it yesterday and I was planning on going in today to get it pierced... could it spread onto my tongue? or can I still get it done? (link)
|
Its highly unlikely that it would spread but I would wait just to be safe

Okay so I'm 95% positive i'm gonna get my tongue pierced... BUT... the only thing is is that im starting a new job soon and they dont allow them... so is it possible to get it pierced but with a clear ball on the top? My mom said (since she's the manager at where i'm gonna start working) that if i can get a clear one it'll be fine... so does anyone know if that's possible? (link)

They make clear tops for them, but you will have a bit of a problem. You can go ahead and get it done, but typically the tongue will swell when its pierced. Therefore before you can even think about changing out your tongue ring, you need to make sure that you have the time to allow it to heal as much as possible and time for the swelling to go down. Then you can go out and try looking for the clear jewelry for it. After you have done this, you can either change it yourself or go back to your piercer and have them do it. You also have to keep in mind tho, that it also depends on the piercer. I am one and typically I will not recommend using the plastic pieces of jewelry until the piercing has completely healed. This is because plastic is porous and can therefore hold germs and bacteria. Again, it really depends on the piercer.
Best of luck

alright. so my aunt's wedding is in 17 weeks & i wanted to start losing weight now. [because i can never stick w. anything! haha]
its a strapless dress - if that helps.
does anyone have a workout plan that i could do to help me lose weight - maybe 30 pounds? i dont think thats practical to lose it healthily so 20?
thank you :]
oh yeah - i have a treadmill and workout videos [tae bo, yoga, pilates, you name it! haha] (link)

20 pounds would be a completely healthy and realistic goal for 17 weeks. The best way to figure a healthy weight loss is that you should strive to lose approx. 1 pound a week. However, another thing that you need to take into consideration is that you will need to be fitted for your dress and you need to make sure that if you continue losing weight there will be enough time to get your dress altered so that it fits you properly.
As far as losing weight is concerned, start making small changes and incorporating regular bits of short exercise into your daily routines. Slowly cut out bad for you foods, and soda and unneeded fats and sweets. By doing all of this you will slowly change your lifestyle into one that is signigicantly more healthy. The benefits of this will be that you will naturally lose weight at a healthy pace and since this isnt a diet, but more a lifestyle change, you will not have to worry about gaining the weight back so long as you continue your healthy habits.
Hope this helps, please feel free to contact me if theres anything else I can do.

okay. im dying my hair brown today.
my hair is like 4 different colors.
2 shades of blondes (bleached highlights)
light brown and black underneath, it looks like my hair is dirty blonde more then anything.
but im scared because if i hate it, i want to somehow get my old hair back.
is that possible?
if the brown gets washed out eventually, will my old hair be underneath?

The above answer is great, and it sounds like your hair is gorgeous already, but make sure that before you dye your hair the haircolor you have is either DEMI permanent or SEMI permanent. These types of hair colors will give you the same basic overall end result but are made so that in a specified amount of washes... some are 7-10 others are 30-50, the dye will be mostly removed from your hair. These are the best kinds to use when you arent sure about what the color will look like and want to be able to quickly get rid of it. This way, if its something that you decide you like, you can always go back and buy a permanent color which will not wash out.

Do glasses make your chin look bigger or smaller? Either the small-gray-square-framed lenses, or thick black square ones. (link)
|
It really all depends on the shape of your face. Typically if you have a smaller face, it would be best to go with the smaller glasses. The idea with choosing the right frames is to keep them so that when you put them on, they look proportional to all of your other facial features. In essence, if you find the correct frames for your face, some people would consider this making your chin look smaller, but in reality it is just creating the correct proportional image

Well me and my boyfriend have almost been dating for a year , the summer of 07 [ summer that just past ] i cheated on him and we worked things out and we were fine . Well i thought after all this time he would have forgave me completly. But come to find out he says he just cant , i know i hurt him real bad and stuff but i mean its almost been a year and he still hasnt forgive me . It hurts because he doesnt trust me at all , but in his heart he knows id never do it again . I need help so i cant get our WH0LE relationship good .
Any help ? iv said all i could say to him ''/

Well hun, theres the problem. Once someone in a relationship has cheated on their partner there is a bond of trust that has been broken and no matter what it cannot be repaired. I give him credit for being able to work things out with you in the first place, because that was a very big step on his part. What you have to realize is that although he says that he cannot frogive you, in order for you guys to still be together, he has had to have forgiven you to some degree. Also, put yourself in his shoes and how you would feel. There are just some things that people can do that no matter what, the other person can work through it, but will never be able to fully forgive the other person. Cheating is one of those things. The best thing that you both can do is keep communication as open as possible and slowly work to rebuild the trust that was once between you. This is a long process and it will be hard, and it the trust you guys nce shared may never be the same as it was before, but you can always try, I hope this has helped and dont hesitate to contact me if theres anything else I can do

Hi, I just completed a 2 day CPR FIRST AID COURSE! I loved it, i really like to learn new things that will come in handy and that i can relate to. I enjoy education as long as i understand what im learning and its not philosophy or anything like that. The point is I want to continue taking "Mini Courses" I was thinking swimming lessons, do you have anything in mind that is not like a long term diploma thing but i can get down in a weekend to like a couple of months? Im just really interested in educateing myself and want to continue. Any Ideas will be helpful. Thank You (link)

If you loved your CPR class... consider taking a certification class to become a CNA... certified nurses assistant. Typically these programs are not very expensive, around 500-1000 dollars depending on where you go. They typically only take a few months and its a great skill to have. You are able to learn great skills, develop great relationships with people, and you will walk away with a certificate that will allow you to get a very good paying job if you choose to do it that way. Typically you can find these programs at either a community college. Sometimes there will also be small schools that will offer programs just of this nature as well...the only downside of this is that typically you do need to be 17 or 18, but the requirements are different depending on the school. Any other ways I can be of help, please do not hesitate to ask.

I know someone who is extremely overweight. Their mother has tried everything--literally, everything--to get them to lose weight, but they just won't. They binge and convince themselves it's ok. They don't see that they have a problem. What else is there to do? (link)
|
Unfortuantly in order for someone to lose weight the person that is overweight needs to make the decision to change. Until that happens, no matter what anyone else does for the person, its not going to work. If your friend has decided that she or he is ready to lose weight then the first and formost thing you and their mother need to do is be there for them to support them because weightloss in incredibly difficult. Also, once that person is ready to change, make sure that they are able to speak with their doctor before they change their diet and introduce exercise. After they have had the okay from the doctor then encourage them to make small life style changes. Weight loss will take longer this way, but it will help rebuild their lifestyle into one that will stay healthy. First, cut out fats, and sweets and introduce healthier alternatives.
Hopefully this will be a good starting point, let me know if there are other ways I can help

I have a Blackjack, and on AT&T you can have them tell you how many minutes you have left in a text. When i read the text it says how many minutes i have, and then at the bottom it says N&W: Unlimited. What does this mean? (link)
|
I think the above answer was great, but I just want to make sure that you know that for a typical ATT plan.. nights are considered monday-friday after 9pm and weekends are all day and night saturday and sunday. Just so you dont think that you can use those minutes at other times and it will be free.
Hope that helps!

I'm 16, and i plan to play wide receiver. I think i have good hands, am 6 feet tall, 155 lbs., pretty fast. My teacher who is like a mentor told me i should be more aggressive to do great. how can i become more aggressive in practice and in the game? (link)
|
In order to be more aggressive, you need to make sure that your head is in the game and practice at all times. Make sure that you show all your coaches that you are treating your time in practice just as you would a game and that you are giving 110% all the time. There are a lot of guys who will slack off during practice especially as the season goes on, as Im sure you have seen. Make sure that you are always involved, know your plays and are giving it your best effort. This will show your coaches that you have what it takes to show yourself and skills on the field.

Hi all,
Whenever I shave my pubic hair, it always comes out stubbly and not anywhere close to smooth..any advice on that? And I don't think I can wax, because I doubt my mom would approve.
Also, I have no idea how much I really should be shaving off...like, I don't really want to ask because I don't think my mom even knows that I do.
So, if anyone can tell me how much I should shave off and why it comes back out really rough, that'd be great! Like...I feel pretty sexually attracted to my one friend, and if anything happens between us, I don't want to be embarrassed 'cause I don't know what he'd be expecting.
Thanks so much! (link)

Hi hun! First of all, it takes a lot of time to properly shave your pubic hair off. The first thing you need to do is make sure that you are using the right kind of shaving lotion. There are a few that I like using. Your best bet is going to the store and finding a shave gel with moisture beads that is made especially for your bikini area. Also, make sure that when you shave, you are shaving DOWN. This way you are shaving with the hair and not against it like you would on your legs. This process does take a little longer but it allows you to shave with less irritation to that area, which is important. Also, after you shave make sure you use a moisturizer in order to keep for skin from freaking out there. As far as how much, it really just depends on your own preference. I get rid of all of mine, because I think its cleaner, but some people leave a little patch that they just trim, thats entirely up to you. Hope I have helped and dont hesitate to find me if theres anything else I can do
