Haha, i can answer this earily, about 90% of my friends are boys, and they tell me..everything! haha
There's probably about 15% of guys who do..the rest only do it because they want to pleasure you and want to make you feel good..and usually want something in return.
It really depends on the guy.

Well, that's definately a toughie. If you guys are best friends, maybe you should try and talk to her in person about how you feel your friendship has changed, i wouldn't reccomend saying she thinks she's always the sopt light, don't get mad or anything, just tell her that things have changed and you feel that you're not as good of friends anymore, and sometimes she can be agrivating. I wouldn't bring up anything about the present (even though that was very rude of her and she shouldn't have expected anything) because that would just make her upset. If she's a real friend, she'd understand.

My boyfriend has to work on Valentine's day so we're celebrating it the night before but I was thinking of maybe buying or baking something to bring in to his work. I am not that great of a baker, but I can do it if needed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should bring to him? He's not a huge fan of chocolate and he likes various candy, I just don't want to buy him something and give it to him, some thought should be put into it... (link)

My schools NEVER have dances.. it's like all the other towns do but mine doesn't. Oh yeah i forgot, once in 6th grade we had a poor excuse for a fun thing to do called "ACIVITY NIGHT" where a horrible dj played music for like a half an hour in our cafeteria and there was no deceration or anything. Also there was sports so there was like no guys there, lol. Is there anyway I can get my middle school to hold a dance, without some side thing that will scream "OMG THIS ISNT A DANCE ITS AN ACTIVITY NIGHT!!!" (link)

There is more than one way to french kiss. I remember when i was like 7, i thought it would be cool to look online and get tips on how to *thinking i would actually use it then??* but it actually gave out some good tips. I really like this boy, he likes me back (we both know it) but were not going out yet. Heres the only problem, were both pretty shy. Well when i get to now people im really outgoing and crazy but around him im still kinda shy and so is he. So the relationship really is going far. So heres my question, should i keep tying to make it work or is it pointless?
Also were gonna hang out this friday. We have never hung out alone (only with our group of friends)so im nervous. Any tips? like talking and stuff, I dont want there to be awkard silent moments. (link)

Congrats on you guys hanging out :) It can be very tough sometimes when you both are shy. I know this might sound very hard, but tru to overcome your shyness, not a lot, but just enough to get a converstaion started. One of my tips, is that, if your having one of those awkward silences, i just ask "sooo. . . .what's your favorite kind of ice cream??" Everybody loves ice cream, and boys love it that you took the first move in starting a conversation. He will answer, and unless he's a jerk, he'll ask you yours. Then you could just ask eachother your favorites and stuff, and he'll see how much you might have in common, and like you even more ;)

okay this is going to be long but plz i need the help! okay throughout my whole life i have never known my dad because he has been in jail for like ever! he was in jail because he abused my mom and almost killed her. but i really wanna know him...he is out of jail right now and is not allowed to come around me...but recently my dad seen my aunt and told my aunt to tell me he loved me but im not suppose to know this......i only know because i overheard my aunt on the phone with my mom and my mom doesnt want her to tell me and my mom doesnt want me around my dad. 4 years ago...he was out of jail i think and as i was walking home from school my aunt from my dad's side was in a car parked on the street waiting for me to walk by and as i did she started asking me questions like if i remember my dad and stuff. so like my dad or that aunt on my dads side would have had to been like watching me and to know if i still lived there and to know what time i got out from school. then like a year after that happened we had a court date which i went to and my dad never showed up for the court date so my mom has custody of me. now like a couple of months ago i was with my mom in the store and my mom saw my dad in there and told me that was my dad....my dad saw me and my mom but he like turned around and walked the other way as if he didnt want to see me or he was just shocked or scared that i would hate him.....my mom almost went crazy in that store when she saw him she started cussing and everyhting lol. but my question is now does it seem like he wants to see me....and is it wrong for me to want to know him even though he almost killed my mom.....whenever he was in jail he would always send me stuff but my mom never gave me them things...she would throw them away...except she did let me keep this little purse with my name on it....please help me i am so confeused about all of this....it's really hard not having a dad. but is it wrong for me to want to know him and does it seem like he wants to see me? thank you so much (link)

There is nothing wrong about you wanting to see your father. I have a father, who left my family and moved to georgia (i live in illinois) and i've only seen him a couple times, so i completely understand your desire for wanting a father. I think that if you really want to see him, make an arrangement to see him. If you're afraid, have somebody that you know (preferably an adult whom is not your mother) to go with you. He probably does want to see you, he was just probably afraid of what would have heppened at the store that day. If you deeply want to see him, try to take an action twards it.

Ok I am a 17 year old male and I have had 3 serious girlfriends, but recently I have had major problems talking to any girls at all. I understand that it is probably very very hard, you might fear regection, or who knows. You could just be afraid and not know why. I, being a girl myself, and all of my friends LOVE confident guys, i'm not saying go out there and ask anyone you like out. But at least try to talk. I know it's hard. So maybe meet a friend (thats a girl) through one of your guy friends and become good friends with her, it will help you learn/relearn to talk with girls :)

Well, i'm not sure how old you are. but if you've had your period for a while, and have been using tampons it usually doesn't hurt as bad as the people that havn't. What makes it hurt mainly for the first time is the layer of tissue that is broken when having sex {sounds gross i know} and if you use tampons, in several cases, the tissue has allready been broken, i'm not saying it's not going to hurt, it just won't be as bad, also if you are more of an active person, it isn't usually as painful.

I do agree with the other person in saying that she needs to get over this on her own. But being there for her, talking to her if she ever needs to, really helps. I'm not saying go up to her and ask "do you want to talk" because sometimes that makes it worse. Also activites like going swimming, going paintballing (not with the guns) go carting, exc. Yes, they might seem a little childish, but hey, they are still fun :) It might help her mind around it.

hi :) 14/f. sorry if its long, but please helpp! okay so i have two best friends, one is a guy and one is a girl. lets call him peter and her jessica. ive been friends with peter since i was like 3 and ive gone to school with him all middle school. this year were going to different highschools because he is going to an all boys school.. but we still see eachother alot. jessica is someone i met at camp like 3 years ago and we live about 20 minutes away. but we hang out so much, you would never guess that we live that far. anyway, one day they both came over and met and they started liking eachother. they hung out a few times with me there (like 6 times in two months) and then he finally asked her out. she realllllly likes him and stuff and he reallly liked her. but now, they dont see eachother a lot and he isnt sure how its going to work with them living so far away. he called me and told me that he wanted to break up with her because his feelings for her werent that strong anymore. but then he asked me not to tell her. but i feel that i should because she is my best friend and i know she is gonna be hurt. if i tell her, then i will lie to peter cuz i told him i didnt. but if she finds out that i knew before he did it, then she will be like mad. i know i would if she didnt tell me. can anyone help me please? im like torn and i really dont know what to do!! :( (link)

This can get very comlicated. I'm 15 myself but everybody tells me i'm very good at giving advise, so i'll try. You say Peter has been your good friend for a very long time, so i think that you should be a trustful friend and not tell. I also do understand that she's your really good friend, and some things you just can't keep to yourself. I would have to say, that if he doesn't tell her soon, maybe you should hint at the idea. Not nessicaraly tell her. If she does find out, tell her not to tell him, and if she's your really good friend, she won't. If she's not veru trustworthy herself, i wouldn't risk it.

hi, i was just wandering how much a small animal would cost? i live in the uk, and there are only 2 shops that sell live stock. one only sells birds and the other sells fish, small animals, and birds. the first is really crappy and in poor condition. the other is really good, and big. i was just wandering how much a small animal like rats, hamsters, gerbils will cost? also, how long can a fish live in a plastic bag for(with water obviousely) thanks. please answer back because i need to know by wednesday. thanks in advance (link)

Small animals such as rats, ammsters and gerbils might not be very much, most are usually around 2 or 3 US dollars. But you would also need to get a cage (around 15 US dollars) and it's food and everything. It can get quite pricy at times. Keeping a fish in a plactic bag is not a good idea. i would have to say 2-3 days tops. Maybe if you have a big bowl or something it could live in. you might want to ask how much to feed it though. I would know, i've had stuff like that before :)
