I have 4 Basset hounds, 4 cats, 2 birds and a southern flying squirrel. I recently hand raised a baby kitten from 2 weeks of age and he is doing very well.

She ahs this before but not this bad, we pushed it back into her eye but now like a month later, it came back out and she won't let us pish it back in. Does anyone ahve an idea on waht this is? Your dog sounds like it has cherry eye. it is common in a breed like your dog. It is a gland in the eye and can be fixed. The vet can try using eye drops to reduce the swelling. If that does not help he may want to do surgery.

I have two cats that are a little over a year old. a while ago one of cats have started peeing and pooing right outside the litter box. (they are indoor cats).

my question is, can you train a cat to go in the litter box even though they are over a year old? And if you can. How do you train them. I got my cats after they had been trained by another lady.

thanks for the help. (link)
Cats pretty much train themselves. They also like their litter box very clean. Clean your litter box daily and see if that works. Some cats won't use the same box as another cat so you may hve to try using 2 boxes.

what is the best food to use to help your cat loose weight...thanx...i will rate high for good answer....♥ (link)
Take your cat to the vet and have it weighed. If your cat is really over weight the Vet may put it on a special diet food. Hills R/D is a great way to reduce your pets weight, but you can only get it with a prescription from your vet.

My dog just had its first menstual cycle//period, how long will it last??

thanks! (link)
Dogs come into heat starting any where from 5 months on. Then every 6 months or so. The best thing you can do for your pet is to get her spayed. Spaying your dog will help prevent unwanted puppies and future health problems later on.

my dog will not eat and he is looseing weight rappidly. where can I find a clinic or is something I can buy him to help him get better (link)
You should take your dog to the vet. Anytime a dog won't eat or is losing weight rapidly It needs to be seen by a Doctor. The vet will ask you some questions such as how long has this been going on, has the pet had it's vaccines ect. He will do an exam of your pet and may want to do some lab work. Please take the dog in to be seen. He's your best friend and is counting on you for help.
