Dear Advicenators,
One and a half years ago my brother *Henry* was diagnosed with hemophilia, which means that his blood does not clot normally. If he gets a cut, it's really hard to stop the bleeding. If he loses too much blood, he could die if the blood is not replenished.
Henry and I always liked to spend time together (he's two years older than me). We'd ride bikes to the park and shoot basketball hoops. He couldn't be too active, but he was my best friend and I felt safe around him.
Anyway, he lost a lot of blood one day, and was taken to the doctor for another blood injection. The horrible part was, that the person who had donated that blood was carrying the AIDS virus. The doctor proclaimed that Henry now had AIDS.
Henry is 15 years old, is in diapers, and must be fed through an IV or a tube. He has about 4 months left to live. My entire family is sad, and angry about it. My parents must monitor him all the time, so I always have to get a ride to my volleyball games. All three of us never have extra time, because we are always there for Henry and when he must be hospitalized. I had to drop out of volleyball for him.
Henry has been the butt of the jokes from the kids at school lately. They make fun of the fact that he has been in diapers. They are unaware of the fact that his brain is slowly being devoured, and he can't feed himself. The AIDS is tearing the whole family apart. But luckily, my friends are there to console me, but I always feel resentment towards the cruel kids at school. Can I please have some suggestions on what to do about that?
Anyway, as I am spending my last Christmas with my brother, I have no idea what present to give to him. Could I please have some ideas? I want it to be special and something he'll remember when he goes to Heaven.
Also, how can I comfort / cheer up my parents? They have been having lots of mood swings lately and have been very stressed.

I know you love him and i know you are sad at the fact that he is soon to pass away, but it seems like you have a good grip on things, and you are lucky to have such an open heart, many people your age are sad, and sulkey at the fact that there whole life is about to change, i just think that the thing with the kids at school is something that can only be solved through prayer,
the thing with parents, well this is a little harder, they are about to loose there son, so this is a hard time for them as well as you, i know that you will miss him to and i know it seems that i am being a little bit out there at the fact that he is soon to die, but it is something we all have to face. every one has to go sometime, and God knows what he is doing, even though you may not see it yet, i think the best present comes from your heart, talk your brother, he may not be able to talk or function properly, but he can surly listen, and you might want to give him a neckless, or something that you love verey much, and when he is burried he will still have it on, and the thing that he is most gonna take when he parts this earth, is the love that is in your heart, my prayers are with you and your family both, and i hope you stay as strong as you are right now, and may the Lord be with you. -love- The Deep Seeker

Im already having problems with my life right now but this just makes it worst!
Everyone has a girl in their school who is pretty, smart, friendly, flirty, somewhat popular.
My problem that I need advice on is how do I become that girl?
This girl, her names megan, shes short, blonde hair, pretty, smart, friendly, sorta popular, has an annoying voice sometimes, really flirty, talks about sex` bi (likes chicks n guys) a stoner but you cant tell.
She can become friends with anyone and they love her, she can start a conversation with anyone adn they talk back
Im not jealous of her bc she told me Im pretty too but I just cant be like her, I wanna find a way to be like her and I need real advice -not just talk more or flirt more- but real advice
So if anyone can help me out Id love that so please help me out Im stuck with this girl till Im outta school so I really need this advice

I like this guy and i thought he liked he but yester day he called me and he said'' I need advice, i like this girl and i think she likes me ... but do you think i should ask her out?'' well i thought he was talking about me, but then i found out it was this other girl. i dont know if he acutually likes her or not because she is not his type at all. Should I just let it go or should i say something? (link)

ocay, you should never just asume he is thinking of you, or talking about you, and you dont know what his typ is, so mabye he dosnt like you cuz you kinda act like a "know it all"

I have this one really good friend, and let's call her Jane. Jane and I met last year, when I came to her school for a gifted program. Jane and I became kinda friends, but I made a best friend that I'll call Kristen. It's a year later, and now were all good friends. But on the bus the other day, this girl I'll call Sam bad mouthed my friend. I asked Kristen if she liked Jane, and she said no not really. Jane is a really good friend of mine but I don't know what to do? (link)

Im know just how you feel, friends can put you in some though postions..
but this is the thing, not everyne gets along with everyone, and you can't fix that...sorry, but as long as they are both your friends and you spend the same amount of time with them, well then things should be fine!

I have three really close friends, Taylor, Sarah, and Alyssa. We're all completely different but we get along really well.
So now here's my question, Alyssa's going out with this guy, Micheal. And Taylor and I don't like him at all, infact we hate him. He lives in a differnt city now, but when he did live out here he went out with two of my other friends... and cheated on both of them. Alyssa looks past this because she's been in love with him for almost a year. He never really showed interest in her until a month ago when he was horny and she was willing.
Then Julia his latest ex and Alyssa's good friend found out and got mad at both of them. Because Alyssa didn't ask if it was ok to be with him, even though he and Alyssa didn't actually go out just do... stuff... Then after all the fights, Micheal has the nerve to actually ask her out. And Julia get's pissed again because she warned Aly about him.
But then the cherry on top was that Alyssa bring's him to Sarah's birthday, uninivted, of course Taylor and I make him feel so akward he leaves. Then Alyssa lies and leaves halfway through the party saying she has to go home. To hang out with him, and when we find out and call her, she lies about where she is and who she's with saying she's christmas shopping.
What should I do she doesn't listen and he's an ass. Who's already cheated on her once and they've only been going out for about two weeks.
And she's a virgin and he's reeeeeally horny!!!!!

Well you cant change the way she feels, but you can sure try, one day she is gonna get her heart broken, but that might be what it takes for her to relize what a great friend she has~love~
