Hey, I'm Lauren and I'm a freshman @ SAC.
I have just become a Biology major because I want to work with cute little animals when I grow up.
I play guitar in the band, Ashtray Drama, which has been on a prolonged hiatus, but one of these days we will play shows again.
Most people think we kick ass---but that's for you to decide...
I am pretty much the best person to ask for advice because I came from nothing and now I have what one would call the "Perfect Life".
I go to a killer prestigious college which is trying to make its way to the Ivy League, I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world who I am going to marry, and I am pretty much awesome at everything I do.
I used to be a complete spazzy ditz in high school, but I know how to get my ish together and most people wish they were me.
So yeah, ask away... I probably have the perfect answer♥

Alright I am a really big fan of music i listen to ANYTHING except Country and Gospel and i really am looking for some good new music to listen to. Hear are just some of the people i listen to :Chamillionaire, Hinder, Panic At the Disco, 50 Cent Eminem, DKM, Nickelback,Bone Thugs, Trillville, Metallica, Papa Poach basicaly anything rap rock pop punk i just need some good new songs to download or good old songs that you can never forget you know what i mean? just answer with a few of you fav titles thanks all i'll rate you well if you gimme some good songs old or new.

OK, so two of my good friends were going out. Then the girl dumped the guy. The guy is on my bus and he was absolutley devastaded. So my other friend and I were trying to make him feel better. Then my other friend called his exgirlfriend a whore. Last night I told his exgirlfriend about it and now she wants to confront my other friend. I told her in confidence and asked her not to but she said she won't use my name. I know she won't but what if my friend finds out I told her? How can I stop the exgirlfriend from telling her?

You know what...although you shouldn't have told her what your other friend said about her, he still said it. And whatever he said, he should be responsible for, so you have nothing to worry about. Nothing bad will come your way unless either of your friends are complete douchebags. What people say about other friends is their problem. When it is repeated, it is not a reflection of the one who repeated it, but of the one who originally said it. And your guy friend has somewhat of an excuse for what he said: he was devastated and heartbroken. If the girl is any kind of a real friend she would give the guy a break and just let it go.

I'm 17 years old and i dropped out of school and i dont have a job and i reallly want one i aplied every where and no one has CALLED ME!! All i do is sit here al day getting yelled at by my mom because i dont have a job!! But im trying!! im so depressed im just here all day and we need money so bad were almost evicted ive gained so much weight since ive been home ive been in the hospital before for trying to kill myself and i have cut marks all over my body im about to jump over the EDGE!! and i have a physicall comming up and if my doctor see's those marks im right back at the psych ward:( how do i cover those marks??

Ok, first of all, you have to figure out which problem is the most important and attack that one first. You can't do everything at once-- it takes time. Just take a day to go out and apply to tons of random jobs that you could work at. To get a good job, you have to present yourself well. If you don't like yourself, what makes you think the companies hiring you will. You have to walk in with confidence. This will get you out of the house and away from your mom who is yelling. Keep going out and looking for jobs until you get one. Once you get one, everything will start coming together. You will then be able to attack the other problems: with a job, you are doing stuff all the time so you will lose the weight. You won't be sitting around like a fat fuck and eating all day. A job can solve most everything. About the cuts-- I, too used to cut and still am prone to it (yeah, i know you prolly are like, why the hell would SHE be depressed, but yeah...it happens, youre not alone)...What I did was just stopped cutting and put Mederma cream (you can get it at any drug store) on the scars. They went away and faded. Now they look really old and some have compltely gone away. You need to just calm down and take things slowly. Things won't be perfect right away, trust me, I've been there, but they will get better as time goes by.

I fell lost. Dont know how to start a new life alone. I do not have any skills not good at really anything. My heart is broken. What can I do too make it stop and find a direction?

Well first question is how old are you? If you are still in school of any sort, you can focus on your work and other activities you enjoy like maybe sports or music or art or something until the heartache goes away. You will feel pain from time to time, but it will eventually subside once you have found a passion. Love and relationships are not everything...you have to do things that you can keep on doing no matter what happens.

I want to give this guy I like the "go-ahead" to ask me out if he really likes me, but I'd rather not just flat out say, "I like you as more than a friend." I've done that before, twice, and both times it ended badly and I was embarrassed. But, on the other hand, dropping subtle hints doesn't always do the trick with guys. What would be a sure-fire way to let a guy know that you like him without being blunt?

Just make it so you two are hanging out alone together a lot of the time. Initiate these rendez-vous yourself. This way, if he is going to ask you out, he will have the perfect opportunity because you two are alone and he knows you want to be there. Also, if this doesn't work, you have to be blunt and just lean in and kiss him. I did that, and I have the perfectest boyfriend ever.♥ good luck!

So I have this extremely annoying friend. She always gets into other people's business and just creates more problems. She thinks she is cool and awesome but she's not. She is annoying and pushy. Whenever we whisper something into each others ears she goes insane and asks a hundred times "were you talking about me?" She never shuts up. I really want to ditch her but I feel bad. Like I was extremely close to her in fourth grade but nows she just a nusicance. How can I nicely tell her to leave me and my other friends alone for a while?

P.S- to explain the title she always wears a sweater with a print the lumberjacks wear so my friends call her "Lumberjack Audrey" and "Lumberjack Girl."

You can't just tell a kid that you're going to ditch her, so be subtle. I, too, am trying to get a breather from this one friend of mine because he is also being a little bitch. You have to remember that she is a friend and that you can't be mean. Just don't call her or invite her to hang out with you for awhile. Don't initiate anything. When she calls, just push the "IGNORE" button on your phone. See, you know you may want to still be friends with her again eventually, so don't burn bridges. For now, just don't treat her like you guys are bff or she will be more inclined to follow you. Just minimize the amount of time you are stuck around her and this will minimize the degree to which she pisses you off.

You've been going out long enough...you should probably know him well enough to figure out what kinds of things make him get all excited...like for instance, guitars and anything music related make my boyfriend crap himself! Figure out what passion your bf has and go to the mall. When you see things that he has told you are wicked cool...get that for him! Hope that helped!
