Yes you can take laptops on a plane.

However there are some requirements:

1) You need a special case to take it in.

2)Airlines allow you to use on certain times. But you cannout use them during take-off and landing. Your radio for wireless internet has to be turned off too.

3) The airline attendants will notify you when you can use it or when you can't.

4)At the checkout point, before heading to your departure gate, you are required to remove the laptop from the bag when you pass it through the XRay machine.

5) If you like more information, contact your airline customer services a few days before you travel and find out more about laptop's policy.

PS:

For things you are allowed or not allowed on the plane,contact the airline customers service too. Because some of their policies may have change and there are stricter rules.

But I do know some stuff you can't take with you, such as:

Lighter fluids
Hammers/drills/screwdrivers,etc(okay so tools aren't allowed)
Blasting Caps
Dynamite
Fireworks
Flares

Hi i recently met this girl, didnt really have much of a conversation with her but asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime. She said sure, so i asked her a couple minutes ago if she wanted to get coffee. If she says yes, then how do I prevent awkward silence while we are together, seeing as i dont really know to much about her?

Why don't you use that time when you're out together to find out more about each other. Get to know each other more and see how it goes from there.

At my high school, we have a comedy club. We perforn every month or so. I'm writing something on why you shouldn't tell your kids the usual childhood myths.

Like how the tooth fairy teaches kids to sell their body for money… and how she's to blame for prostitution.

But I can't think of anything like that for:

Santa Claus
The Easter bunny

And what other childhood myths are there? But if you can think of anything to help get me started I would really appreciate it. =D

I probably sound really paranoid but I am wondering if I might have worms or some sort of parasites in my body. I have read a few things online about people detoxing and cleansing their bodies and finding lots of worm-like things in the toilet during the process. It seems to be really a common thing.

I eat a fair amount of meat, including beef, which is suppose to have a lot of the parasitic eggs in it. I have never found worms in my stool or anything but I guess that doesn't mean much.

So, I thought I might do a cleansing process on my body too just for good measure. I've never done a body cleanse though. Has anyone done a cleanse and can tell me more about it and how to do one? I'm really interested and will do whatever I need to so my body is healthy...

If you want to have a healthy body, just talk to your doctor. You don't want to use any cleansing medicine that could harm your body since you're not sure about the inestinal parasites.

I play a sport all year around. I need money though, Im basically broke; so I really need a job. Does anyone know of any ways to make money (not by mowing lawns and such because its starting to be fall and cold) Or any jobs that you can have flexible hours? Thanks! Please help I really need it :-(

Well since you are into sports...you can find a job that is related to sports. Try looking into some sports store and see if they are hiring.

You can check stores/malls' website for career listings. If they do offer that, you can start to apply there.

In the winter you can get a part-time job at a ski resort.

So the past 3 weeks I have been going running, and recently have been running A mile so since I'm on my 3rd week I thought I would have already been seeing results in my body but I feel like I look the same, I have been watching what i eat i stretch and do laps in the pool.
I don't understand why I feel like I'm not seeing any results any help why that is happening?

and what can i do to loose weight faster?

Well, if you want a proper diet that works, you should consult with your doctor. He or she will help you create a good dieting/exercise plan to lose weight. I suggest you do that first before going into extreme measurements to lose weight. Trying to be fit is a good goal but then you don't want things to go far and potentially risking your health.

Some things the doctor would help you with is:

Helping you figure out your caloric needs. They will help you calculate the right amounnt of calories you need to intake. This helps because it doesn't affect your health and it's better for you.

Then they will help on figuring the right/proper food for you to eat and so on...

Lastly, they will help in what exercising equipment you should use first...to get more active and cause less pain to your body.

You need to be motivated. This is the hardest part, because if you're not motivated, all your attempts will fail. All you need is the motivation and commit to the goal at hand.
Set up a goal for yourself, for example in 6 weeks attempt to lose certain amount of pounds.Must always re-evalute your plan after certain times and talk to your doctor.

Try your best and don't give up.

Yea,that weight is average for her height.It's actually in the range for a 5'5-5'6 person.

The weight for a person 5'5-5'6 in tall:range(111 to 150 lb)

But if you and your friend are not really sure and need mor information, try calculating the weight and height or if she's really serious about this topic, she can ask her doctor.

But I think that is a normal weight for a person that height.

My question is does anyone know a really good book? Something that isn't a century long lol..

I saw someone suggest "Speak" on another post it sounded very interesting and I will look into that one. However, I like books about reality, Drama, Real life storys not so much romance novels but survival storys or something that someone went through in life. Also if anyone could suggest some really good books related to Anxiety and Depression would be fantastic!

P.S. I have already read all the David Pelzer books.

In two weeks I will be flying to Australia from the UK, which takes almost 24 hours. I'm not afraid of flying, I just don't particularly enjoy it so I'm not really looking forward to it. Does anyone have any tips for flying long haul? Anything related to passing the time, sleeping, eating and jet-lag would be greatly appreciated.

First thing you have to do is reserve a good seat.For a long flight, you'll need to be as comfortable as possible. You just don't want a seat that makes you keep turning or drive you crazy.I would suggest an aisle or exit row seat for leg room, or a window if you want to sleep. Number one thing that makes you enjoy the flight is the seat you choose.

Bring your own entertainment stuff,because sometimes the movies on the plane doesn't start early or they aren't that good(for your taste). Have your Ipod for listening to music and some books to read(try getting ones that are really good).

Bring some food/snacks on the plane, ones that you enjoy. On some airlines, plane food is quite poor, so if you care of about taste/health,it's good to have your own.

OR

You can contact your airline in advance to see what food they offer. You can see if you can order a special meal. Many airlines offer vegetarian,meat, kosher and other special meals. But you have to contact them in advance.The airlines have to specially prepare your meal, so it will be better than the standard fare meal.

Move around, you don't want to seat in your seat for the whole trip. Imagine what it will do to your body, especially if you are on a long flight. Moving around helps you to avoid all that body aching(due to low circulation) from staying in one place.

Lastly, avoid looking at the time, the more you look the more time will feel slow.
