My band recently played a gig at a bar - we were there for four hours and were promised a minimum of $200.
Some friends of the band were there, and they got into a fight (verbal) with the bartender, he got angry and kicked them out. Then waited for us to finish the song we were on, and he turned on the jukebox.
We packed up our things and as we were packing up the last of it, one of the people that was kicked out, came back in to see if we needed any help with anything. The bartender started screaming at her, telling her to get out, when she started explaining herself (and to be fair, no one was acting really rationally at the time - except for maybe the band.) the bartender kept telling her to get out, and eventually grabbed her and tried to push her out. A guy with us got in the bartenders face about it - saying he shouldn't be pushing her around - and yeah. One of our band members broke it up and got the people to leave.
After we got what we believed was all of our things, the band member which got us the gig went in to get the money. We heard the bartender start yelling at him - and it sounded like it was getting very heated - so myself and the other member went in to make sure we had all of our things, since it didn't seem likely that we'd be able to return anymore. As soon as we stepped in the door, he yelled at us and told us to get out. I left right away but the other guy kept going in, eventually all of the band members came out - but we recieved no money for our gig.
When we went there, one person gave the bartender his credit card to start a tab on - and he intended to pay it with the money that he recieved from the gig. We believe that he still may have charged the credit card for the drinks - so we really want our money so we're not in the hole for all of the drinks that were had.
What i'm wondering - is there any form of action that we can take (We're going to talk to the owner again tomorrow and try to settle it when everyone has calmed down) to get our money? Or at the very least to have the credit card bill dropped? (link)

if they dont give you your gig money you could try threatening to take them to small claims court,which might happen if people are going to be jerks about it.

So, I was talking with this guy and I'm 15 and he's 16. We were planning on doing it because, I thought, we were basiclly dating. Today, I found out he had a myspace and apparently he has a girlfriend he never told me about or mentioned. I saw the comments she left him saying how much she loves him and then his replys and they were from today. I know this means he's basiclly an ass and I shouldn't be with him or care for him anymore but I really hurt. Should I just not answer his calls and have nothing to do with him anymore or should I confront him or what should I do? Should I tell his girlfriend that he was planning on having sex with me? i would deff say something to him, when he calls and play along untill brings up doing things, say.."mmm idk maybe ill do it when you a your girlfriend break up" and if he gives you crap saying that hell dump her after you do it, dont listen to him, your probally to good for him anyway

WEll me and my boy friend diego have been dating for almost 4 years now( im 17 he is 18) and well we both love each other. he even promised me many times the day i turn 18 he is proposing to me which happens to be in about 3 weeks. well his birthday was a couple of days ago (our birthdays arent that far apart) any ways well on his birth day him and his guy friends went to a club. there diego saw an old friend from when he lived in mexico. well they started talking and some how he got a hold of some drinks and he got really drunk and him and his friend Andrea went back to his house and had sex. i found this out through him only cause i got lucky with such an honest man. he said he was drunk and he saduced him. well i believe the seducing part because i had met her when we went to mexico so i could meet his family and she was all over him. well any ways im still really in love with him and hes the one and only person i have ever had sex wit and for me that means alot cause im am definantly not easy. i really love him. we talk were each others best friends and lovers and everything else. i am still going out with him but i dont knwo since he promised me when i trun 18 he is going to propose to me should i say yes our should i wait and see if this happens again cause im really confused and i dont know if i should say yess or iff i shouldd sayy lets wait a little while to see cause i have always thought im gona say yes. i dont knwo what imm gonna do

well i wouldn't say no to him..but i would have a pretty long engagement just to seee if he would do it agian..but i dont think he would tell u about it if he really wanted to have sex with her unless he really really felt guilty vut sometimes it takes something like that to happen for someone to realize how much they liek the person they ahve been with...hope i helped rate me !

i have these excessive sweating problems under the armpits. i've heard this person say that you should apply babypowder over your antipersperant but that doesn't work for me at all and it makes that part look nasty cuz the stuff bunches up. anyway i just went to main drug mart *i'm canadian* and i only brought about 20 bucks with me and told them and they recommended drysol but they were all really expensive so i could only afford to get the mild one which says "aluminum chloride hesahydrate 6.25% w/v in anhydrous ethanol" and i don't know what that means. i sweat alot alot even if i'm not doing anything that usually makes you sweat so do you think mild would be okay to stop the sweating or should i get the stronger one? sry for the length i really need help on this.thanks in advanice (link)

go to a demetologist and tell them you sweat alot.. they give you really good stuff that seriously works...the stuff in stores really doesn't hope i helped!

i know this was already asked but i need to ask again ... there is this guy and i have liked him for 2 years now. We went out last summer but the day before school started back we broke up. I've been friends with the same group of people since I moved here(8th grade). I'm not a junior in highschool and just about fed up with the way they all act. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're great friends but well...act pretty slutty at times. Actually, they don't act like sluts...they are sluts. They are they typical "popular slutty cheerleaders" and I don't want that to reclect back on me becasue I'm not like that. Okay, so I'm relationship challenged. I've never had a real relationship and I'm 18. I actually just got kissed for the first time a month ago tomorrow. Well, the guy that kissed me is kind of confusing. I've liked him for a while and he seems to like me. Anyway, over spring break, I asked him to prom, even though I knew he wanted to ask another girl. He said he didn't know if he was going yet, but if he did, he'd definitely go with me. Well, he hadn't said anything about it for a long time, but we'd been hanging out a lot, so Friday I asked him if he'd decided whether or not he was going. He said he was leaning towards no, but he still hasn't decided. However, my friend said she heard that he asked another girl to prom on Thursday and she said no. i recenlt attended a party at my friends house...... im 14 female. anywayz. i went out with this boy ryan for 2 months last winter and then again for 3 dayz in september. we broke up then second time because we became too good of friends and it was "weird" n e way.... at my friends party it started out with talking and he was flirting with me. then i was sitting on his lap and i must have been there for 45 min then all the sudden we started making out. the rest of the night we couldnt keep out hand off eachother. He had his hands on my waiste or butt or he was holding my hand. well i talked to him recently and he says he likes me and this other girl. and i kinda wanna go back out with him. but im confused... we were too good of friends to go out but we can still make out? and obviously we like eachother as more then friends... i dono... what do you think?
