I'm going to be doing Rush soon, for sororities, and I know one of the rules is no alcohol and no talking to guys during Rush. But, My bf goes to another school and I talk to him everyday on the phone so does that mean I can't talk to him either?
Also, I know what happens during Rush but am I allowed to tell the sorority members that I'm really interested in their sorority or do I wait and see what happens on bid day? (link)

Ok..I am going to take a different approach...
I am apart of a sorority.. During rush you want to find out as much about the sorority as possible.
How much are their dues?
How often do they get together?
When are their meetings?
How long are their meetings?
What are the rules if you cant attend a sorority function?
Will you have to pay a fine if your unable to go to a event?
Ask them whats the difference between their sorities and others?
Ask them if they haze or will you have to make you do other things to join?
DO NOT JOIN A SORORITY THAT HAZES!!!!
Ask them how often they go out as a sorority?
What cause do they raise money for?(Every sorority raises money for a cause!)
Ask then what is their favorite activity they do as a sorority!
As for your question
I am not sure about every sorority...but Alpha Gamma Delta (the sorority Im in) does not force girls to not speak to their boyfriends.
Tell the girls you are intersted....in their sorority..
Be excited!
BE YOURSELF!!!!
Be honest..even if your not sure its what they want to hear!

I'm starting college on Monday and I just wanted to ask a few general questions. I'm going to Penn State McKeesport (aka Greater Allegheny) if that helps.
1. This might sound weird, but how do people normally dress for college? I come from a HS that didn't allow ANYTHING. I don't know if it's different in college. Like, are shorts and tank tops allowed? I'm just wondering.
2. Obviously, I'll have books. Do people usually carry their books, use backpacks, or use just really big purses?
3. I won't know anyone, and I'm not so good at making friends because I'm really really shy, so any pointers for making friends would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance and sorry if the first 2 questions are really weird, but I have social anxiety disorder, so I NEED to know stuff like that hahah.

Dress is VERY laid back... The first week you will see some students dressing nicer than they will the 2nd month of school. The longer school is in session the less people care about their clothes.
Tanks and shorts are fine...
I dont carry all my books. The first day you wont need your books. In class, ask the teacher what books you will need in class because many of them will be used for readings at home. I personally use a purse, only reason is that I dont have to carry all my books to class.
Making friends... Talk to the people you are sitting around...
Join a club...
Rush a sorority...

It may seem strange now due to the fact you are still in school. The age difference doesnt matter outside of school. Of course there will be critics but if you like him...Stay with him. You dont have to be like everyone else...

Being in the 9th grade,are you ready for sex? I know if you have your mind set on having sex..you will do it anyway..Trust me there are many girls in college that are still not having sex. Its a personal choice.
Being upfront is the best option. This does not make you a slut.
Oral sex is not "dirty" instead it is something you take part in when you really care about the person you are with.

My girlfriend of 17months.. we sort of fell into a really really rough patch and we were both thinking of ending things.. i really dont wanna let her go.. i love her to much to do it..
but to me it seems like its wat she wants... i only want 4 her 2 b happy wether thats with or without me..
Basically we have decided to go on a break for around 2 months and act as just friends and see how we feel after the 2 months and decide wether to end it properly or get back together...
Its only been 2 days into this little break and already its killing me.. i cant stop thinkin about her.. shes all i eva think about.. the only person i wanna txt/see... im crazy in love with her!
Im so scared at the end of the 2 months she isnt gonna wanna get back with me..
When i talk 2 her now she seems so happy and fine without me.. and it kills me... i can barely hold a conversation with her anymore without feeling depressed..
I keep asking myself "why is she so happy without me yet im dying without her?"
Should i be cutting down on things i usually do 2 show her what she will be missing.. or show her what a great bf i can be so she will want to come back?
Is there anything i can do to help feeling how i feel - depressed all the time..

You have to live your own life.
Why are you going to wait around for her to decide if she wants to be with you?
Go out with your friends! Sitting around waiting for her to come back isnt going to help anything. In fact that will affect any chances you have with getting back together.
YOU are 16 ...trust me..you will meet many more girls...
