okay, there's this boy that i can't decide if i like or not. Half the time, he's the sweetest guy i've ever met. the other half, he's a horrible jerk. he'll be a total jerk to me (although he says he's just kidding, it's still very cruel), then when i get mad at him, he'll be super sweet. Whenever he calls or texts me, i can't help but smile, because it's always something funny or sweet. But in some ways, i can't stand him. He's really shallow sometimes. he's had girlfriends, broken up with them, and had another a day later. i don't want to be one of those girls. but what if he asks me out? i think he might like me. Theres nothing wrong with testing the waters. If you do end up one of those "girls" then you know what not to look for in another boyfriend future-wise. If he asks I'd totally say yes if you really like him, ya know? But thinking about it isnt going to prove anything!? :) Good luck with the boy!

Awesome choice (skater boy). From personal experience, and I'm a huge skater boy fanatic. Depending on what your personal intersts are, music seems to be a biggie with them! I mean reaserch if you have to. Dont go all OCD on 'em, just listen to some of the music they do. Heck, hang out with them and get an up-close and personal chance to learn more about them! It's fun to talk to them online and stuff because you can start off with the normal "Hi, how was your day?" stuff, but once you've hung out you'll kinda have an idea what he likes and such, and you could even talk about how much fun you had hanging out! It's up to you to really make the final call. But make it cute, just not too cute. If you see what I'm saying :)

So tomorrow is the last time I'll see this guy I like cause its summer vacation right, and we just go in for a quick second.
I've been crushing on this guy for a long time now but we've never really had a long conversation or talked to eachother, outside from the classroom work I guess. But I always catch him looking at me -especially at the last school dance, then there was that one time he sat behind me during a presentation and he kept nudging me in the back.
Whatever, I figure "hey why not? If its a yes, then BOOYAH, if its a no then you have 2 months to get over him" sorta thing.
What should I say?
I was thinking just
"Hey, do you want to hang out this summer? maybe catch a movie or something?"
Something simple?
I don't want to scare him by coming on to strong.
Idea's?
Please don't say "You should be friends first" or "Flirt more" cause I know that but its kinda late for that now, and I'm asking him out to try and make a friendship not neccessarily become his girlfriend right away.

There was this boy Dave, he was in my Studay Hall and Lunch. I mean I have looked at him a few times during both periods and have caught him looking at me. It feels awesome, dosent it?! Anyways, over Christmas break actually, he had added me to his myspace. We kind of talked and I came to find out he liked me! I was excited beyond belief! After we'd talked for a little while...a few weeks later, we were dating! :) Never in my entire life have I ever been so happy with someone, ever.
I'd say talk to him, kinda ask questions in a flirty way. Ask him for his number. And compliment him! Dont go over the top with it, but I've noticed that guys like that little hint you like them. Not only does it tell them how you feel, but it makes them feel a lot more confident around you. Then maybe once he feels like he can be himself (although he should be already) but I mean as in a less-shy kind of way, you two just might hit it off. I wouldnt go straight to the point though, that might give him the "desperate" vibe. Take things slow. Once you've gotten your point across hang out with him, find out what he's like. Things could work out excellently!

I'm 14 and i've never had a boyfriend. I don't really care and I don't obsess over it or anything but if I do ever get one any time in highschool I wouldn't want to do stuff like being fingered or sex or blow jobs and all that...
is that weird? I just don't think i'd feel comfortable doing any of that. I wouldn't have a problem with kissing though..

That is 100% natural. You're just not sure what you want! Thats an excellent way to score a great guy. Not just someone who wants down your pants, ect. I think you should stick to your plan. It's safer and healthier! You will be glad once you find that perfect guy to give it all away to. It's always nice to hear you are completely sure you'll have no dises and such, if you catch my drift ;)

Hunny, if you're even thinking about it...get it over and done with ahead of time. The more time you sit wasting thinking about what you're going to do is time you could be spending with the the other potential boyfriend. Also, you just might become too attached to your soon-to-be ex. I think that if you've thought about it clear the thought and put it into action. I've been in a similar situation before so I'd say go for it. It may not turn out the way you'd like but who's never heard of testing the waters?

I personally like the boys making the first move, but everbody's different when it comes to that type of stuff.
Sometimes you dont even have to plan who makes the first move, at times you both can kind of want to...and then all the sudden it happens. :)
You probably dont want it all sloppy, so if you do plan to make the first move, take it nice and slow. Go from gently kissing him, then pull away, then kiss him again...and kinda work your way into his mouth, and while doing this you could actually get him to make the first move. He wont even realize what you're doing.
