Thems 9th-grade-folk never took too kindly to dykes.
You must be a very obnoxious car lover for you to be made fun of by all the other people for it. All of my interests and passions and.. quite different from most peoples' but I never got made fun of for them. People just nodded in fearing admiration. I'd say just stay in the closet until someone mentions something about cars. THEN you say you like them. Don't go shoving your "OMFG I LYK CARZZ!12" thing down people's throats. Because frankly, noone cares.
