is it wrong to hang out with my best friends boy friend when she is not there even though we were friends before they started going out...

I don't think its wrong, but just to be on the sure side you should ask your best friend how she would feel about that, and don't make it seem like you like her boyfriend. I think she would understand if you were friends before they started going out. If she starts acting jealous then I would stop. ♥
