I used to be a very shy person but as the years went on i became less shy. I still am a little shy. But anyways there is this girl in my study and she is like sooo coolest person you'll ever meet, we've become really good friends in the last month or so when ever im around her my confidence level and self-esteem go up. Whenever she'll call me or we'll talk on im i get like shy and dont know what to say. How can overcome being shy? What should i talk about wen im on the phone with her?? Sry it's long. Just talk about whatever comes to mind; school, study, clothes, boys, just whatever! She obviously doesnt mind that your a lil shy though cause you's are still talking. And dont be nervous cause that always makes people shy! Hope i helped. xo- ashley

I've been really close with my friend Ron for a little while now. We are both 15 and we tell each toher almost everything. Recently I ahve been feeling something more for him. We joke around though like I always give him nuggies and in return he puts me in a head lock or something. Yesterday he was towering over me just to see how much taller he is then me and I jsut wanted to lean up and kiss him. Which I might have done if my other friends were not around. I just don't know how he feels about me though. He read a poem that I wrote about him and he really liked it. So today he shows me a song he wrote and it was about his life but then in one part it said
"When times get rough his thoughts to to her, she has helped me through so much.

Don't let me dissapear"
I know it was about me but the second part I can't tell if the second part is saying that he'll always be there for me or that Hes always going to be there and he doesn't want to be forgotten, as if he's afraid to be forgotten. Which he knows I would never forgett him. So today I gave him another poem I ahd written about him and it had said that I never wanted him to leave and that when I move I need him to call me jsut to say hi so i know he still cares. Well he saw it and hes like "Whats this?" And I told him and his eyes sort of lit up in a good happy way. I have such confused emotions about him. I like him so much its scary I know its not love but I scare myself at how much I like him. What should I do? And do you think he might like me as a girlfriend or jsut as a friend? (link)

Okay so this year my class and i are all going to washington for an end of the year trip, And my bff asked me to room with her, but i dont really wnat to but i say yes anyways. Now here's where it gets hard for me, my other friends (4 of them) asked me to room with them and i'd rather room with them and have tons of fun...BUT i dont wanna leave my friend alone.. and i would ak her to room with us but they all hate her and there can only b 5 to a room...what should i do? i dont want to be a bad friend but i DO want to have fun :(...i rate 5's! Well you should have thought about your choices before you said yes to your friend. I'd just say yes to her because she probly wont be able to find some one else to room with because its last minute. Hope i helped. xo-ashley

I need to know what to do in this situation,i went on a date and i told one of my guy friends about it and then he told another guy that the guy i went out with fingered me and then that guy asked the guy i went out with and he said no and told him it wasn't true...but the worst part is that he lied and said that i was the one who said that he did it to me when it never happened...the guy who started the whole rumor is suppose to be one of my best friends what should i do or say to him.... please help...thanks (link)

Well all boys will be boys and be immature and just have no lifes like that haha. But umm just go right up to him and confront him and tell him how you trusted him with it and stuff like that. He maybe will feel how you feel in the situation. I wouldn't make a huge deal out of it with him though, cause he will probably make it worse. Hope i helped. -ashley

lately i feel really distant from my friends ..like they dont care about me or want to sit with me at lunch and stuff. Sometimes i feel like i am distant from my friends too. But it always goes away or is only for a little. Its kind of a confusing situation. But i think you should not have to go and try to make new friends, you should tell them how you feel, well at least one that your closest with and tell her/him to talk 2 the rest. I would tell the one you think would understand most and tell them you cry and stuff and you are sensitive but its just getting to you lately and you dont feel appriciated. hope i helped -xo ashley

They are not your best friends.. they are probably using you because they need some one to talk to in that class or something. So just dont talk to them, completly ignore them and hang out with some new friends. Hope i helped xo-ashley

my best friend well that is what she says that she is my best friend but she keeps hangin out with tiffany my other friend and she just leaves me out when she grabs tiffany away from me or like if a am standing by tiffany she get right in the middle of us. Tell them both about how you feel, like take them both in a room or somethin and talk 2 them.. not together though. Because your friend and tiffany will probly agree with eachother and leave you with another problem. Hope i helped. xo- ashley
