i have been best friends with my friend sammie since about 7th grade. now i'm a junior & i'm not quite sure what to make of our friendship anymore. we are not in any of the same classes this year& we never see each other in the hallways either, so basically i don't see her in school. in the beggining of the year we still did stuff together, but now she has a new friend & doesn't seem to make an effort to hang with me. now i'm not against her making new friends (i have made new ones too), but we are nowhere near as close as we use to be. i still like her, but i don't know where this friendship is going & i would just like an opinion on what you make of the situation or if you have any advice on if i should let the friendship go or keep trying. thanks, for good advice i rate 5's. definitely keep trying. if yall were best friends theres no reason to let it all go. just try n make plans with her occasionally and hang out and stuff. and go hang out with her and her new friends.

Tell her how you feel. Try to hang out with other people too (like not her). And only hang out with her some of the time. And when you do hang out with her...hang out with a bunch of people too so she can maybe make some new friends.

I'm at a friends house and the two friends that i'm here with are mad at each other!! My friend, lets call her Anne, thought that my other friend, ummm..lets call her Haile...anyway! She Anne thought that Haile like did stuff with Anne's boyfriend, but haile didnt, but anne is convinced she did!! I wanna help I really do, but I just dont know what to do anymore! I really dont want to get stuck in it, but I cant enjoy myself with all the tension whirling around....please help!

Well if i were you, i'd stay out of it. but if you must get involved, then you need to find out from haile and anne's boyfriend what really happened...and then tell Anne what really happened. anne shouldn't be mad at haile anyways...she should be mad at the boyfriend...

okay well i like love my best friend, he means everything to me, but the thing is i dont wanna like him. i mean, he knows i like him, but he doesnt know how much. i like cant ever stop thinking about him, hes everything to me. i would give my life for him. i have a boyfriend right now, but i still love him. how can i get my mind off him? well hun...just try to think about your boyfriend. if that doesn't work, then you probably really do have feelings for your best friend... just try to hang out w/ ur boyfriend a little more...

ok my BEST guy friend might like me. i'm not sure if he does because his close friend-who is also my close friend-says that he probably does like me.
the reason i don't think he does or that i'm like, pessimistic about it is because we are like, so close as friends that i don't think that we would be anything different.
but the reason why i think he might is because: 1) his/my friend thinks so 2) he called me randomly just to talk (and he usually doesn't do that) 3) he said (while on the phone) 'oh i see ------- (his friend) he's gonna ask me who i'm on the phone with and i'm gonna say a hot girl...cuz its true.' 4) after he said this (and he said it like--seriously) i was like oh i'm sure (me=no self esteem...so i DON'T take compliments well) and he was like 'i love you' and i didn't hear him so i was like what? and he was like 'i love you!'
can you tell me what he might be thinking or feeling...thanx in advance

My parents and my friend's parents are not getting along at this current moment. ..and well ever since 2 weeks ago, the phone calls have stopped...and I guess I miss talking to her..usually, i would call her constantly..like everyday..and like my mom told me to stop to give her some time to herself..well it's been 2 wks..what more time can she have?? I have too much pride to call over now because it's been too long and it'd be awkward..she only calls me if I call her first..so idk what to do because I wanna talk to her..should I give it up and get over myself or wait for her to call or put my pride down? i was friends with this girl in 5th and 6th grade, when we got into 7th we grew apart. now we just graduated from 9th grade, and were talking again. we made plans for her to come over this coming wendsday, i need sum ideas for sumthing to do, this will be our first time hanging out since the 6th grade. i dont want it to be awkward.

just ask ur friend what it is you're doing wrong. sit down with her and tell her that you've noticed things have changed and you would like to know why. and ask her what you could do to save the friendship...
