Q: please help me! ive been crying like crazy for 2 days!
im in an ap class and we have to read 90 pages by tuesday and our test is tuesday over those 90 pages. i have to make 3 outlines over those 90 pages, and they have to include certain vocabulary. however im done reading but some vocabulary i couldnt find and there are some questions she wants us to answer about them and i dont know the answers! i cant simply reread everything! and on my first ap quiz today i FAILED! and im not good at all at the essays that we have to do. i am going crazy i cant stop crying because im so afraid that im going to fail! im crying right now! please dont tell me to see a therapist or councelor! ive asked my parents to drop out and they said that i cant because i need a challenge and the school requires a signature and they call the parents to confirm it! i am extremely worried and i seriously cry so hard because im so afraid that my gpa will be ruined and college will not be available to me anymore. please help me i need so much help! my mom doesnt know im crying but she knows that i get worried about failing. PLEASE HELP ME!!

tell your parents to get you a tutor , AP is hard.
try it for another week though w/ a tutor . ask your teacher for a recomendation. your teacher will probably refur you to another AP teacher that works in your school which is good because they know what you need for the tests and follow the curriculm. they usually charge 25-35 dollars an hour which is cheap for tutoring. or you can ask your teacher if you can come in earlyer or after school for help from them which is free. best of luck.

"It had seemed like the beginng of happiness and Clarissa is still sometimes shocked more than 30 years later that it was happiness;that the entire experience lay in a kiss and a walk, the anticipation of dinner and a book"
What does it mean?
All I have is that happiness is not measured in the amount of money you make or the car you drive, but the little things that make you happy. Life flies by so fast that you never stop and realize how great the little things are.
Is that on the right track?

Q: In school, we are learning about noticing good paragraphs. And for our project, we have to identify certain writing styles. Lets say that the style is descriptive imagery. I have found a paragraph and I want to know WHY it's good. I don't know how to explain why it's good, it just is. Would anyone know any ideas on how to explain why it's good?? I'm not asking you to do my homework, I just need some ideas.

say the paragraph flows nicely , the paragraph has good mechanics , the paragraph stays on topic , the paragraph has a thesis , the paragraph is descriptive that sort of thing

Q: I have a quiz tomorrow in math and I dont know really understand how to find something from a cirle graph. Okay so lets say that the cirle graph is called Persons Living Alone by Age and the pieces of the cirlce are ages45-64 is 33.4% Ages 25-44 is 14.8% and Ages 65 and older is 46.7%. Lets say they ask If the total of 10,851,000 people were living alone, how many in each age group were living alone? How do I find it out? Please help and thank you! Sorry its so long!

Q: I have a project in English for an individual reading assignment, and i got signed THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE.. its a movie also..
but in the movie and the book, Miss Brodie keeps saying she will turn her students in to creme de la creme. does anyone know what she means by that? I don't know if anyone would have read it so that would probably make more sense..

Q: Hi. Well, I'm in the 8th grade (female) and I live in Maryland. Well, I am taking a Science and Tech exam to get into this highschool. Anyway, I'm having some trouble with analogies, because most of the words I don't understand sisnce they are so unfamiliar. So if anyone could give me a heads up on what books to study for or other resources to explore (internet, video, etc.) that can help me improve on analogies to help me pass the test with a really good score so that I can be excepted into the school. well most science and tech words come from roots , find a scientiffic roots list and the root is in most scientific words and you'll be able to understand them for example the root dent means teeth like dentist ! the roots will deffinitally help on the test

Q: In elementary school I was a straight-A student. Suddenly in the 7th grade, everything's different. I am soooooooo disorganized! I always get the format for the HW wrong or don't understand the assignment.
I just got a progress report:
English A-
Science B
Math F
History N/A
Spanish C
This is sooooo embarassing! An F! Isn't it awful? I failed a quiz, got a B+ on my exam, and failed all of my homework, usually because it isn't in the correct format (the progress report came out before I got my exam back). I feel so terrible---I go to a private school and everyone gets A's! Am I stupid or something because I'm so disorganized? How can I be more organized? About how much more of the 1st quarter do 7th graders have? 7th graders, could you give me an idea of when it ends???

well it depends on where you live and what county . if the quarter is up for you you need to tell your parents ! get a tudor or ask your teachers if you can come in 20 minutes early and have them explain anything you didn't get , they usually don't mind . if the quarter isn't up then ask for extra credit, do wellon any final exams and go in early , it will show them your making an efort and they may ease up on you a bit . your grades aren't terrible except for the math . if your in advanced classes you may want a schedule change .

do your late work , go before school if they have tutoring or after . tell your parents . its better they know and get you a tutor that for you to fail and hurt yourself . the worse that canhappen is they yell and grown you which will be a good thing so you can get work done.

if you have no F's then your promoted ...if you have one F then you can do summer school and pass if you alot of F'sou need to call the school and see what you can do ... you'll probably get a letter in the mail to tell you if you passed or not ... the 5 credits you can make up in comunitly college then go on to real college

Q: Hey. I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade at the moment. Right now I'm registering for high school classes for next year. I'm definitely taking Latin 1. Since there aren't very many honors classes for freshmans, I think I want to take Spanish 1 also (it's not a honors class. I want to take it because I think I can use it a lot in the real world or w/e). My question is, do you think I should take 2 languages?

Q: I just got my report card this past friday. It said that my grade point average is 3.95 which is really good. but when i started look at what i got (A A-) it said I had straight A's, A-'s A+'s and I was confused. I get to see my grade a week before they come out, and my science teacher said i was getting a B- then, on the report card it said A+...i don't understand that..can someone explain?

Q: I want to be homeschooled next year, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it and if it costs alot or not? If someone was to be homeschooled, would they still have to take gym or no?

when your homeschooled it coasts anywhere between 500-1000 $ for the books and lesson plans . you dont have to take an elective but they may make you take a typing class like an elective . you must send all your work in and you must go to a center to take all your tests .
