Well, what can I say? My name is Sarah. I am currently a junior in high school, and am having some trouble deciding my future. I know I am not the only person with this problem, so I though by helping others I could figure out where I want to go in my future ^_^
advice
Well at ym B-ball practices i really play my hardest and act fun. But when I go to my games i freeze up and play like i dont know what im doing. The play offs are coming up and I dont wanna mess up my team. Im not stage fright or nervous. I just dont play right. Please help or give advice
I used to play basketball, but don't anymore. However, when I did play, it was easiest for me if I just imagined it was a regular practice or that it's not a game. Think about just playing, not about the score or the audience. The way it's sounding to me is that you play best alone, but you need to try playing with other people. If you play with more people, if you get the chance, you might get more comfortable on the court. Or try practicing on a court more, if you can.
[13/f] everyone at my school sees me as a shy person who always follows the rules and everything and thats not at all how i am! i got detention today and this kid saw me in the office [iv'e had detentions before, but i dont brag about it to look "cool" like all the other kids] and he was like "whoa! YOUR in DETENTION??" I feel like everyone knows me for someone i'm not and it's really starting to bug me. i'm not at all how anyone sees me, not even my own friends.. does anyone know how to like idk, show everyone "who i really am"? i know that sounds gay but i don't know how else to say it
Although you want people to see a different side of you, you seem afraid to do it. That would be me as well. Most of my friends saw me as a goody-goody, and I hated it. I was always shy, but once I felt comfortable around my friends I was able to be myself. Maybe all you need to do is wait until you are comfortable before you can show your true side to everyone. Hey guys, I always have to have a book to read for my reading class. My teacher calls it our independent reading book. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you could give me the names of some really good books that you've read before. I love reading, and I can't seem to find any good books right now, so I was hoping someone could tell me some good books. I like to read fiction books, mysteries, or something that has to do with romance/relationships in it. If you can, please helpt me out! Thank you so very much! :)

I read Nicholas Sparks, anything by him is a good read. I own almost all of his books, I am missing one so far.
I also like Erica Spindler-Dead Run. Jonathan Kellerman-The Murder Books, that one is a bit slow in the beginning but if you push past it is really pretty good. I don't know, those are like murder mysteries.
Nicholas Sparks is definitely one I like to read though.
Others I like are Grecian Holiday and Spanish Holiday both by Kate Cann.
I'd suggest going to a bookstore and just browsing all different sections, especially used book stores, you never know what you'll come across!
