advice
A big problem. Ok... I'm in student government at my school. Were freshmans and are shut down for our ideas... even our teacher doesn't support us. Well, we have connections with stores and radio stations- and we want to organize a fashion show. I mean it's a huge responsiblity and were worried guys and girls won't come, and where thinking of dinners and so on. Please, give me some ideas on how to work this thing.. how to organize, promote, ANYTHING! Thanks- I rate higghhh
Maybe you could let the school whole school know about it and tell them to tell there friends. Tell them it will be an awesome night with dinner too!! Putting something on a radio station would be really good too because people would get the news and actually pay attention because alot of people listen to the radio!! Sorry not too much help..but i hope i helped a little!
Hey! It said in your advice column that you go to Marist! I live in Chiago I'm like 99% sure I'm going there, but the thing is I live like 2 blocks down from Mother McAuley High School. I shadowed at Marist on Friday Oct. 8th and I thought your school was awesome! I really need to know the pro's and con's of Marist but I'm pretty sure I'm going there! Just tell me a little bit more about the school. Oh, and do you play sports there? Which ones? I Irish Dance, so if you missed a practice, would the coaches be super mad, or can I juggle both dancing 3 days a week AND sports? Thanks I rate! ~*Annie*~
Hey my name is Kristen by the way!! Marist is an awesome school. I don't play any sports there because I chose to play club instead. I do play volleyball..just not for Marist! To be 100% honest with you there are really no cons at all with going to Marist. It's an awesome group of students and teachers. I'm a sophomore and I've loved the school. The past 2 years I've learned so much, the other students are awesome, the teachers are willing to stay after or come before school and pretty much willing to do anything to help you out. The guidance couselers are awesome. You only get one but all of them are awesome so no matter who you get you'll have a good time with them. Everything you say to them is confidential unless its life threatning to you then they HAVE to tell. From what my friends say the sports are awesome. If you like to dance then you should think about joining the poms team if you go there next year! If you need anything else or want more information my screen name is xlilirishcutie2x or write me back here!
look, i go to a british school, and next year i will have to choose my subjects for IGCSE? I am good at both history and Music, but i love music 100% more! the problem is my parents, who do not want me to take music. they feel that history would be much more scoring! but i really, REALLY, love music, and i am good! i learn the Piano, and will be taking grade 6 of the royal schools of msic exam, and i play the flute and the guitar as a hobby. PLEASE HELP ME!!
i need advice!
Take into consideration what your parents said..but over all go for what you want. I think you would rather be happy with your decision to study music, rather than not looking foward to going to study history everyday. Go with what you want to do and not what your parents want.
