I love clothes so i'm best at answering questions about style or fashion. When I grow up I want to be either an actress or a fashion desighner. So these are my best subjects! Butt, I can help in pretty much all of them :). Please feel free to ask me anything, I'll ALWAYS answer to the best of my ability, and come on here as often as possible!

Hi,
I am a 17f. I was hoping you could help me find a bikini swimsuit that is cute, flirty, and has ruffles on it. Or if it had a belt too that would be awesome. Colors I am looking for would preferably be black, red, or green. My price range would be under $80, but cute ones for a 'cheaper' price would be nice too haha, thanks!
Target has a ton. and also Vicotia's Secreat is having their semi-anual sale.
Check those too out!

I got my nails done (a full set) and they've grown out. I can't afford to get them filled or to go back to the place to get them removed. Last time, I tried tearing them off myself, but it took a week and they looked miserable. So is there anything cheap I can buy at that store that will take them off?
Soak them in nail polish remover. You can buy a $1.00 bottle, and still have some left over. It's the easiest and ceepest thing to do!

I really want to get my fake nails taken off. Does anyone know how you can remove them other than chipping them off and going to the nail place (not an option as of this moment)?
You can go to the local drug store and get a container that allows you to just soke your nails off. All that's in there is nailpolish remover so you could do it at home with a bowl and a bottle of remover ($1) as aposed to the plastic thing that I described before($5ish).
Hope I helped!!

So for two years, ive always dyed my own hair from kits from the store. Well, my hair ended up developing this orange tint to it. So i said enough was enough, and decided to save my money up to get it professionally highlighted. I tried to get these platinum blonde highlights, but it turned out even worse becase.. 1) the lady didnt even do a good job and 2) because my hair still had this orange tint to it. So my question is - how do i get rid of the orange color? I cant just wait for my hair to grow out. Ive decided to get light brown and blonde highlights at a DIFFERENT salon this time in April. But is there a way they can get rid of all the gold/orange tones in my hair FIRST? (Instead of just dying over it.) If so, how much do you think it will cost?
They would probably have to strip your hair of the color, die itg all brown then put highlights in. Pretty lengthy process. Going to be expensive because each step can cost anything around $80-$100. I would call the salon you are planning to go to ask about prices. Then, ask to speak to a hairdresser. See what the person says/thinks about your situation. Then if you like what they say they can do. Then make an appointment with the person you talk too.
Hope I helped!

Im Meeting my boyfriends parents and i dont have a clue what to wear.. help please?
we are staying in doors, just going to there house
Anything. Don't dress too slutty. But don't go over the top like you are trying to impress them. I would wear jeans, a nice shirt, maybe even a cardigan depending on the shirt.
Just look presentable, but not over the top.
Be yourself, they will be very open knowing that their son likes you. If you try to impress them they won't like you and deam you as fake.
Hope I helped!

To be honest, they all look the same just on different girls. THe only thing that is different is that in the third one the girl has her bangs poofed.
I like it. I think it is really cute.
I would print out the pictures, bring them in when you get your hair done and explain what you want differently and what you like in the pictures. Since you can't find a picture of it, you need to discribe it. Maybe find pictures that show what you don't want so it is absolotly clear. Its your day, you have to make sure you get it right!

What is a sponsor and how do I get one? I design clothes and I emailed Seventeen and my clothes were in their magazine. I just want to know what a sponsor does and once I have one, where do I go from there? Thanks!
The sponser would pay for the expenses of your line. They would pay for everything. And get a profit-money from the actuall clothing aricle. THey only jump on if they know 1000000000% that it is a good deal and that you have potentiel to go somewhere.
IF your clothes were in Seventeen then great!!
Maybe ask them-write a note-to have their sponsors look at your line and your ideas.
After a sponsor you design!

I really need help finding a dress. I'm between a 3/4 or size 16 in little childern. My budget is under 50$. Any suggestions? Any links or websites?
Take an old dress buy jewels from your local walmart or jo-anns or hobby lobby. ANd make it your own!
ORR go buy a really big t-shirt. Belt it and then be-jewel the neckline.

So, I am 15, female. I make clothing. I want to get my clothes out there. Do you think if I create enough clothing items that I can go to Target or Walmart, I can show them my ideas and I can get a clothing line? Or is that completely fabricated? I don't know how this stuff works. How do I go about getting my own clothing line? I want one really bad, I am quite dedicated to making clothes, I love the beauty of how you can make something yours with something as simple as a bow or a little tie somewhere. I knew I wanted to be a designer since I was little. I said to my mom when I was 7 "mommy, I want to be big one day" and she said "hunny, you can be bigger than big. you are so much more than you know" and since there I just exploded with ideas. I want this so bad. Have my own clothing line and maybe open my own boutique when I'm older and out of school, I just love designing. So, how do I go about getting my ideas out there? How do I also, go about getting my own line? Thanks!
That is not how it works.
Don't waste your time going to Walmart of Target. They are chain stores. One that says okay, is not enough to give you your own line.
If I were you, I would write to Macy's or another department store encloused with pictures, scetches, swatches, etc.
Let them have an idea of what you are about and your ideas. Also, I know Macy's has a junior fashion bored that you should look into joining. I'm not sure if that is only in my area or what, but ask/look into it.
You can sell your clothes on Ebay, or just sell to your friends. You could start a little boutique right out of your house!
Good luck!

Hey, I've been wanting to buy lingerie for awhile to surprise my boyfriend...ive worn all the "matching" bra and panties, but i want some REAL lingerie. What do YOU think is the best kind to buy him? I really am clueless on this type of stuff. I looked on victorias secret but its too much. I am 5 foot 2 inches, i weigh around 115 lbs (i'd say that im slender, but not fit. i dont really like my stomach) i have size 34C boobs. I am very pale with brown hair if that helps with colors? thank you!
Go to JCPenny, Macy's, Carson's, etc.
Any big store like that will have a ton of selections. Maybe go to Victoria Secreats to try on and find out wich ones you like, and then go to a cheeper store to actually buy it. You won't get it exactly, but you can get the same type/style. I don't know exactly what style to suggest for you, but I thought I would mention places to buy.
I can help with colors!::
red
black
Dark colors that will make you look paler, but in a sexier way
no white or super lights-will wash you out
Hope I helped

Hello, 15, female. I love making clothing, I make some of my own and when I go out and wear them everybody says "I love that, where did you get it". I have always been in love with fashion since I was little always wearing little dresses or skirts. I play with my hair all the time and do my make-up. My mom said she could definately see me opening a boutique with my clothes and doing peoples hair and such and that got me thinking, wow what a life. As of right now though, I plan on attending Drexel University for fashion design but that's not for a while away. Can anybody help me for my high school years continuing what I do? Any classes I could take or places I could go to further my knowledge on this topic? I live in Pennsylvania about and hour and a half from Philly without traffic. Thank you!
In high school take apparal constructing. Fashion marketing. Business classes-if you plan on owning your own buisness. Go to your local community center and take sewing classes. Look at getting a job (like during high school) at a local boutique. Look into maybe creating a website to talk about your clothes and post pictures of what you make to show the world! Maybe sell some of your clothes on Ebay? Go to your local craft store like hobby lobby, jo anns etc. BUy patterns and fabric. Make clothes with the pattern and then embelish it or something to make it unique. Take old clothes and paint, be-dazzle etc to make it unique.
Look--in the summer--if there are craft shows in your area. This will help you become a better artist. Fashion is art. Look intro drawing/sketching classes. You need to be able to draw.
Get a sketchbook and start designing!
Hope I helped
I absolotly love clothes too, let me know if you need help with anything!!

So my dream is to be an actress/model.
i need a place where i can take lessons and start. i tried John Casablancas but that was really expensive and lessons or classes like that shouldnt cost you anything. so does anybody know any REAL places where i can take classes that are FREE and NOT A SPAM? i really want to do it but i cant find anything. im from Oklahoma so if you know any then please tell me them.
Thanks!!
(:
JPR is a scam. No lessons/classes, are free. You need to invest in your future before you start getting money. Get experience in theater, then get headshots then get an agent!
I want to be an actress too, so i know my research, if you have any other questions just ask!

so, I have this plain yellow t-shirt, and the thing is that it's slightly see through, so on the back you can see my bra.
I was just wondering whether I should wear a white or a yellow bra underneath it? I don't own a nude one...
So yes, which would be better?
Sorry for the weird question.
Get a neon colored cami, and wear it under, It'd look so cool!

i have a school semi formal coming up..and i was wondering the flowers the girls wear around their wrist..i know where to buy them but about how much do they cost?
That depends where you buy them, but by me there like $10-$15 bucks. Just go to Jewel. You don't need to go to an actuall flower place.

so i have gym class right now,
and it's winter, so my legs are realllly reallly white :[
is there any tanning lotion or anything i can put on the that doesn't look too fake to make them look tanner in shorts?
My friend uses this Victoria Secret stuff.
Sorry I don't know the name, but i thought i should tell you not to use
Bear Bronze or somthing like that, its grosss, you have to lay dry for like 15 minutes and you turn out orange.
I am not sure what color shirt to wear under it. I was thinking brown. Help! :)
Any colors work. The best would be brown(like you said) navy, and black. Personally, I would stay away from light colors, becuase the jacket is light.
Hope i helped!

Female, 24
I've had an eating disorder but as things have improved with my eating the weight has piled on to more than it was before i got ill so i'm very conscious of how "fat" i am.
Anyway, i was used to fitting into age 13 clothes but recently I'm in "adult" sizes and im confused about what size to go for.
In PJ bottoms (elastic waist) i'm a size 12, but i ordered 2 pairs of size 14 jeans and 1 pair of size 14 trousers all from the same catalog but only one pair of the jeans fit me, the other 2 were too small.
According to internet size charts i'm a size 18 - 20, which i always imagine to be absolutely huge.
I just don't know what size to get, and do other people find size charts get it wrong too?
Thank you
Every store has different sizes. A 14 in one store could be a 16 in another. Sadly, this is also the same for different items in the SAME store. If you have a different style, the sizes are likely to be a little different. I've had experiences where the size chart said i would be a 4 but i ended up being a 6. BUt, this is one of the chances you take with online shopping. Try seeing if you can return these pants and go to the actuall store so that you can try on the pants. Also, the number doesn't matter. As long as your happy it shouldn't matter if your 100lbs or 300lbs. You should be in 'adult' sizes. At 24, your an adult. Your not fat. I'm 14 and I'm in adult clothes. I hope I helped
