I love helping others. I may be young & to be honest I have NOT experienced everything there is to experience, but nonetheless I am a good listener. I am creative & intelligent, so I can hopefully give you some helpful advice. =]
advice
13/f. My mom brought me to her hairdresser saying how great she is. Well I've always wanted my hair down to my elbows but someone ALWAYS talks me into cutting it differently so I've NEVER had hair and longer past the sleeves on a short sleeve shirt. And I had sidebangs also, and my hair looked fine the awy it was.
Then she cuts my bangs across my forehead!! Relaly short! And she angled my hair and it looks TERRIBLE. My hair isnt even past my SHOULDERs now.
Everytime I look in the mirror I start crying, And I cant believe I let my mom talk me into this. I'm crying as I type this, I hate my hair so much. I can only wear my hair with a headband because I can't even pull it into a ponytail. And it looks horrible with nothing in it.
I donteven want to look at my self, I'm completely disgusted with it.
I dont even want to go to school tomorrow. Because some of my friends insult everything I do, so I try to avoid them but they still manage to insult me. I dont know what to do.
I need to know how to get myhair to grow FAST also. It cant be a ponytail because my hair doesnt work with a ponytail right now.Any shampoos that work REALLY WELL PLEASEE give me the name and where to get it. I want to get it today if possible, so nothing i have to order on the internet. I wanna start using it as soon as possible
you have already taken care of step 1 to getting your hair to grow - getting rid of all damaged ends. you probably did this when you got it cut.
step 2: Give yourself a head rush. increase circulation to your head. get more exercise so your heart is pumping. flip your head upside-down once a day, brushing your hair from roots to ends (use a natural boar bristle brush to prevent breakage). massage your scalp daily, using your fingertips. You can do this while you are shampooing or just sitting around watching TV.
step 3:Eat right.Hair can only stay long and healthy if you eat well-balanced meals. Foods rich in vitamin A (dairy products, fish, spinach, apricots), vitamin B (meat, fish, bananas, leafy green veggies), vitamin C (citrus, melon, tomatoes and potatoes) and vitamin E (nuts, broccoli, whole grains) are essential for truly healthy hair. Feel like eating a steak tonight? Perfect. Red meat is rich in iron and zinc, two nutrients proven to help your hair grow its fastest.
step 4:Stress less. Studies show that hair actually grows slower when you are stressed to the max. Your hair also needs a good night's sleep.
step 5:Keep your hair clean. Oily roots and product build-up can clog follicles and prevent your hair from growing as quickly as possible--the max is about a half-inch per month. So be sure to shampoo daily (or even more often if you work out) and give your hairbrush a weekly cleansing so you don't rebrush in old dirt and oil.
step 6:Be kind to your hair. The longer your hair is, the older it is. So treat it with the respect it deserves. When you lather up, use gentle shampoos formulated for your hair type. Treat your locks once a week to a leave-in conditioner or hair mask. And try to lay off your blow-dryer, hot curlers and flat iron as much as possible. Throwing your hair up in a ponytail to disguise growing-out layers? Be careful not to pull too tight--you'll risk breaking your hair.
step 7:Get regular trims. After eight weeks, your hair could be up to an inch longer. So don't leave all that hard-earned length on the salon floor. Ask your stylist to snip no more than an eighth of an inch, just to get rid of any split ends and end your above-the-shoulders hair rut forever.
with that said, your hair will not grow overnight, so here are some cute styles you can try for now!
clip your bangs back with bobby pins into a poof! then you can put the rest of your hair into a pony tail (or leave it down)!
another idea-
part your bangs to oneside, use hairspray to make them stay, & put the rest of your hair up!
Hey everbody!! Well, I am 14/f and I really am wanting some really cool clothes and jewelry. I'm tired of wearing what everyone else wears.. Aeropostale and Hollister. Thats where pretty much ALL of my clothes are,and everyones clothes in school are. I want something cute, fun and flirty, and not just all labels. I also want something that no one else really has. something original and uniqe (sp?). Also, nothing too expensive, I'm not rich or anything. haha! but, anyways, if anyone knows where I can find some cute clothes please let me know. If this helps- I like all different colors, but I have dark brown hair, so something that looks good with my hair color. Also, I usually wear a Large or XL for shirts. I'm not really looking for jeans, just tops. And I also am looking for cool and pretty jewlry. But remember!- not too expensive!! Thanks!!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK finding new clothing!!!!
heyy..i wear tilt (pacsun) jeans almost everyday, and they fit sooo good,im just getting sooo sick of them.im 4"11 and 00 (almost a 0) in jeans,so i would like to know, what jeans FIT like pacsun, arent THAT much money (but if they are, tell me anyways, but tell me if they are a lot fo money =D) and come in 00. the new pacsun jeans dont fit that good around the crotch and back, and sometimes around the legs,im very skinny in the back of my legs. i heard l.e.i. was good but i cant find them ANYWHERE.also angels, but im lost to where those are also. stores would rock =). thanks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much in advance!!!!
I have seen Angels at Marshalls an Tjmaxx all the time. You can find l.e.i at a department store (try Macy's or JCPenny...look on their websites)
Hi I live in a town where there are lots of jewish people and there are sooo many bat/bar mitzvahs! I got invited to my first two (no not one, i got two invitations at the same time, but the bat mitzvahs are on diff days thankfully!!!) My family isnt rich where I can get a new dress everytime i get invited to one. Heres what I need to know:
1. What kind of dress are you supposed to wear? Formal, casual, kind of casual???
2. DO people usually buy a different dress for each bat mitvah cause i think it is kind of odd to wear the same dress to (not literally) 20 bat mitzvahs!
3. How should you do you hair? Like should I get it done at a hair place???
4. WHere can I get reasonable priced dresses that are appropriate for a girl who JUSST turned 13? I don't think my parents are going to let me wear strapless!!!
5. HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I GIVE??
It first depends on when the service & party are. If the service is in the morning and the party is immediatley following, then you do not have to wear formal clothing (but not compltely casual either). A dress would be fine, as long as you have a sweater to wear in the synagague, to cover your shoulders. However, if it's a morning service, do not wear a floor length ball gown...this is way too fancy (unless you check with all your friends & they are all doing this). If the service is at night, your dress can be a little more formal, but make sure you still have something to cover you up at the service. If the service is in the morning & the party is later at night, you can just wear a cute little skirt to the service, and a fancier dress at night. The dresses you picked out would be great for no matter when the services and parties are, just wear a sweater or a shawl over them for the service. Oh and some places that would have good priced dresses are Macy's (you already had this), JCPENNY, Forever21 (they sometimes have fancier ones, but usually sundresses, so you need to look for the fancier ones), Kohls might have a few... try their websites & have fun!
my uniform for school is cacki pants and a white polo. i dont wanna wear sneakers with it .. i wanna wear flats, like moccasins or something. does that look good? and where could I get some flats at a good price that are cute, and a nuetral color, like brown or black. thanks in advance
That would look really cute, as long as your kakis don't drag on the ground or are not too wide so they cover them! Try going to Payless to find shoes, they alwasy have the latest styles. Also try Bobs and Kohls. Old Navy usually has cute shoes too!
hi i hope someone can help me. i always see these girls carring around "the northface bags, and they are like on their backs or in front of them. i'm not sure what they are called can you help me? i tried looking at sports authority but they dont have them i dont really want to buy online but if i have to i will... also do you know any other stores that might have them and how much they will be?
hope you can help... anything is great

&heart's;kayla
EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) sells them.

hey, what are some really good ceremic hair straighteners? like what brands? and im not talking about an ok job, im talking a drastic change from like poofy to smooth straight and silky. it would be great if you could answer with straighteners under 40 dollars? thanks, ill rate fives for any ideas.
i use remington wet to straight & it works well for me. my hair is on the thicker side & it's wavy, but it straigtens it well. also you can use it on wet or dry hair. i find it works best on damp hair (NOT soaking wet & NOT dry, but after letting it semi-air dry).
hi, you answered one of my questions telling my to buy the same clothes at marshalls & tjmaxx, but my friend says they only have really small clothes there. like all the abercrombie and hollister etc. is all like very small sizes..
oh well i guess it depends on what the companies give the stores at that time. i got size 6 american eagle jeans there...that's not that small. i have also seen larger shirts as well...it's worth hunting around there because you never know what you will find. they carry all sizes. perhaps when your friend went they just happened to have a lot of small sizes. good luck!
Hey all.
I got this hair curling mouse, and the thing is, I dunno how to use it. I tried 2 times to do 'something' but I ended up with my usual normal hair.
Can you tell me how to curl it?...
Thanks loads.
Kay
i am not sure, but i think you are trying to scrunch your hair (let me know if i'm wrong). make sure your hair is wet-not soaking, just damp. then squeeze the gel in your hands and rub them together. now put your hands in your hair and scrunch it. (it's like grabbing pieces, squeezing it, etc.) keep doing this all around! i hope i helped, sorry if this isn't what your looking for! (also if you have really straight hair, you are probably going to need a stronger product).
what do you think about white nail polish? is it cute, ugly, trashy, anything!! and please hurry!!! easy 5's for fast answers!
i think white nailpolish may look a little odd, but it isn't as bad as black! i think if you want a whitish look, give yourself a french manicure, that will make it look really nice!
i wanna look really good on the first day of school...i have an outfit picked out...but im wondering wat to do with my hair..
I have thin brown hair...and i can do basically ANYTHING with it
so please help
try taking a little bit of hair from each side of your head (form the front) and pulling it back. secure it with 2 bobby pins, and it gives you a really pretty style! here are some examples:

http://www.juicyangel.net/pgallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=9&pos=7
hope this helps! (u can wear your hair straight, wavy, or curly with this style too!)
ok i only have a few barely noticible blackheads on my nose..i need to know the best product to use..nothing tooo costy either
thanks..i will rate good answers!
I would go with St. Ives Apricit Scrub, it's pretty affective. I just use it in the shower, on my face! Just scrub hard! Also use an acne treatment (store brand is fine) before u go to the bed, and maybe Stridex pads or Oxy pads to wipe on your face during the day beccause it is invisible.
what does it mean when it says choose juicy? by juicy couuture
I think it just means they want u to pick Juciy...to buy their clothes. Like literally CHOOSE JUICY.
hi. i'm 14. i ws thinking of gettin my belly button piercd. but i want to know whether it hurts?? it gets infected?? i m goin on holiday on saturday and so will be goin in the pool/sea etc . . . . do you think its a good time to get it done or not?? i don't want it to bother me while i'm away!! thanks
I think you should wait until you get back...so you don't have to worry about it on holiday at the pool & stuff. Also, you will need a parents consent, you are underage to legally get it done alone. Good Luck!

I have SUPER straight hair and have been wanting to curl it! I dont want the wet look like scrunching with gels. I mean with a curling iron.. Any ideas? Thanks!
You probably won't get the wet look with a curling iron, so try scrunching gel instead. Besides, the gel takes less time, and less effort.
Here are some good products to use:
*TIGI Catwalk Frisky Scrunching Gel with Attitude
*Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Scrunching Gel
*Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping Spray Gel (Strong)
If you must have a curling iron, some ideas are:
*Hot Tools Professional Spring Curling Iron
*HAI 3 in 1 Ceramic Curling Iron
*Ceramic Tools Professional Curling Iron
Use lots of holding spray after this!
Good luck with your hair!
Hey There!
I don't exactly pluck my eyebrows at all, but they aren't "bushy". Is there any tips to help me shape my eyebrows? Where do I pluck, and where do I not. I don't want my eyebrows to get too crazy, you know?
You may want to go to a salon (usually hair salons, nail salons, or others) so that you can get them waxed. It doesn't hurt as much as it seems, and it is less painful then plucking, becasue instead of pulling 1 hair at a time, it pulls them all out at once. After this, you may want to return reguarly to have them waxed, or the first waxing can just serve as a shaper, so then all you have to do is pluck the stray hairs every once in a while.
Good Luck,
