Q: I feel kind of ridiculous asking this, but it's really bothering me. Today I was wearing a denim skirt and the zipper fly was stuck for some reason. I was wearing a long top with the skirt. Since the zipper fly was stuck and unzipped, it was kinda sticking out, forming a little bump in my shirt in that area. Hopefully I explained that so it made sense. But yeah, anyway... what would you think if you saw someone with that happening to them... I just hope I didn't look like a complete idiot.

Q: I have a really bad unibrow. Like REALLY bad. My mom won't let me do anything with it: I am not allowed to pluck it, wax it, or remove it in any way. I try to pluck it, but its really hard because there's so many hairs, and also my mom hates it when I do. But recently she kind of gave up, because I still pluck it anyways.

I want to convince my mom to let me go to a salon and get it professionallly waxed. She will most definetly not be happy upon hearing this, but I just want to remove the unibrow, and get some touchups on my eyebrows. She thinks they will do it really thin, "just like those cashier ladies with drawn on eyebrows". It just makes me really mad. I was over at my friends house once, and she gets her eyebrows waxed, and they were starting to grow back a little, and her mom was like "OMG your eyebrows look horrible we need to get them fixed ASAP". I wish my mom was like that. I actually got my unibrow from her, and she doesn't do anything about hers... and well it looks really bad.

She says waxed eyebrows aren't natural, but unibrows arent either!!

How do I get her to let me? Any good arguments?

they do your eyebrows based on what you tell them, make a deal with your mom and say she should come into the salon with you, and tell the woman/ or man how thin or thick she wants your eyebrows, just minus the unibrow.

Q: i REALLY want to be a model. I'm not pretty or anything and i dont fit the height and weight requirememnts, but im obsessed with americas next top model (the show) and i love posing and stuff. I took a few pictures of myself with high fashion makeup i tried by myself. can you give me your honest opinion: If i got some training could i be a good model? (and lost some weight)?

no offense or anything but definately not. i'm not saying your ugly but, your incredibly average looking and i don't really see too much potential.

Q: ok there is something that is reeaaalllyy getting on my nervs...
i have really long thick healthy black hair until my ass...yeah great huh?
soo every girl is telling me i should cut my hair short. it is REALLY buggíng me...this may sound kinda weird , but my hair looks great long!!! and it'z not like itz dry and ugly! all the guys love my hair and tell me i should neva cut it short , but all the girls keep getting on my nervs with it!! i even postet a question here about what kinda shampoo i should use for my hair and i said itz long and the first thing i get is: CUT YOUR HAIR SHORT!!
wtf is peoples problems and why does every1 hate long hair except for the guys??

maybe they're all just jealous, or it could be that it doesn't look as great as you thought it did and they're just trying to tell you. Whatever it could be, you could always trim maybe 3 inches off the end or something, nothing drastic.

Q: im 14. i have a dry t-zone, but it gets oily when i use moisturizer. i use cetaphil moisturizer and it doesnt seem to actually like...absorb into my skin. so i usually wind up putting my makeup on when my moisturizer isnt even completely dry. i know this causes my makeup to be splotchy. (i use bare minerals ) i was wonderin if there were any good moisturizers that sound good for me?
also, if u know some good makeups, that would be appreciated as well.

I use Maybelline Pure Makeup for foundation, its water based so I just put it on without anytype of moisterizer or anything.

Q: This might sound like a strange question, but i'm confused. Alot of people say i'm "pretty" or "beautiful" and it's usually from adults. I know alot of people say that to be nice but one day I walked into a room where my parents were having a party and my mom said as soon as I left they all said i'm so beautiful. But when I look in the mirror sometimes, or I see a picture of me, I really don't think i'm that pretty. I mean, I admit i'm not ugly, but sometimes I just feel like I don't look like that. Also sometimes when I DO feel pretty, like when I dress up for a party, it's when I look in the mirror, but when I see a picture of me i'm like woah i look disgusting. Sometimes I look at myself and I look decent, then I look in another bathroom mirror like at a resteraunt and I think my nose looks big or my skin looks hideous. And also I liked so many boys but no one has asked me out? I don't know if it's cause i'm too shy? Boys talk to me and flirt and stuff but no one has liked me or asked me out! All my friends that are average people not stunning or have wonderful personalities have been liked by a boy. I mean I have been liked by boys in like elementary school but, um that doesn't count. I think boys don't like me because I have a boring personality, and maybe it's cause i'm kinda ugly! But I don't think it's that cause most of my friends just look average and boys have had major crushes on them. I'M SO CONFUSED! What should I think ok myself?

girl, i'm in the same exact boat.
When i go to parties where its all adults and stuff like that my mom always tells me people say i'm pretty. I think that its guys this age, they are immature. You should just hold your head high because i'm sure guys see your beauty and they're just afraid to ask you out.

Well, this isn't a purse at all.

I was kinda thinking about J-14... but maybe another magazine... I dont know, can somebody help me and name a few good magazines that are approriate for 14 year olds? thanks!
Oh and I want them to be fun too! not just boring, like only having pictures of celebritys. something that tells me "WOW!" thanks :]

Q: Does anyone have really good pics of side bangs? im not wanting really thick/big ones...just something where it looks cute up or down.not like at my eyebrows...like at my nose. I've searched all over and can't find anything. So thanks...i rate!

well i have side bangs and they're really easy to maintain, i just straighten them everyday so i'll send you what my hair looks like

Q: 13/f/8th grade. i really like those leggings (or some people call them footless tights). i love the ones that are really bright neon flashy colors or patterns. i also like tights or fishnets that are unusual or iddly colored. does anyone know any good websites? and please dont tell me american eagle.

well i'm a dancer so I know my way around tights. Okay so capezio tights are the most comfortable things in the world, the link i'm sending are the footless ones just pull them up and roll them in the waist to make them shorter. They have some cute colors, not just your average pink and black.

Q: hmm i dont rlly kno how to explain this... like you kno the 'scrunched' hair right? but its not scrunched alot all over, its more just kinda wavy but it still has that wet look? yeah well my hair is naturally curly. but i cant get it to srunch right it looks horrible & ive tried so many times! the bottom half of my hair looks ok when i do it, but the top straightens itself out naturally and when i scrunch that it just turns into a big poofy mess. soo usually i end up puttin it up or at least half up. ok my question is.. how can i make the curls in my hair be more wavy rather than curly and have the wet look? also, is there any way i could straighten my hair and then scrunch it while its dry and maybe that would help me get it to work right?

Well right after you get out of the shower towel dry your hair so its damp, then shake your hair all over to seperate the strands, then add gel and the more gel you'll add the 'wetter' your hair will look. But I have to tell you, the wet look means really crispy crunchy hair. Theres no avoiding that.

Q: So here's a question you don't hear often...

I'm 19/F and I'm a large build... I'm only 5'7, but I'm a size 14 or so, 38DD. The problem is finding a style of clothes that fits me well... most clothes are designed for skinny people and then the size is just bumped up, and it's really frustrating! Button up shirts pucker, long sleeve shirts won't fit my arms...

I want to be able to dress my age without looking like I'm stuffed into my clothes.

Anybody have any suggestions for clothing styles that will flatter me? I'm not a plus size, either.

Actually Torrid is really really great, if you can't fit into an extra small in there I think you should try larger sized polos with cami's underneath. The cami will hold your stomach in if its the kind i'm talking about, like the stretch tight kind and a polo will show a little cleavage but in a cute not sluttish way.
