I'm thinking about a sort-of emo/hipster/scene-style hair cut- but I have no idea what to do to it.
My hair's a little longer than shoulder length and almost perfectly straight naturally. There is a slight wave at the very bottom. My hair is think and light to medium brown. My hair has a very next shine and is very healthy on a whole. My face is heart-shaped and I have a low hairline.
My main idea right now is to get asymetrical bangs that go across, and get it cut shorter in the front.
Any ideas?

I'm looking for a product(shampoo) that tames poufy hair, makes your hair sleek and shiny, and helps to make your hair somewhat thinner. I've already tried the product Pantene Pro-v has. I think it's called sleek and shine. I've also tried Garnier Fructis's sleek and shine products. Many other brands don't have specific types made to make your hair thinner and sleeker. I don't want to buy Matrix products because I don't need to spend like 25 bucks on shampoo. If anyone has had good experiences with brands that aren't outrageously prced I would like to know!! I also would like you to give me the SPECIFIC name of the product...not just the brand!

yes there is colored mascara you should be able to get it just about anywhere like walmart and target so dont worry lol you can buy it at a normal store

k for halloween i'm being a cowgirl. i have a cowboy hat and stuff but i'm just not sure how i should wear my hair. it's not very long.. it just touches the top of my shoulders when it's straight. i was wondering if i should put it in pigtails or if i should just leave it down? what would go with the 'cowgirl' theme more? thanks

I have poofy hair, it hasn't been so bad because I got i layerd, but anwyay. I can only leave it half down, or in a pony tail. BuT I never have time to do it so it always ends up in a bun. I was just wondering if they're are any sites that can show you how to do differnt types of buns or something, different ways of putting your hair up. revlon wet-2-straight works relle well on dry hair and ok on wet hair cuz it makes it a little frizzy. and its around 15-20dollars depending on where you buy it.

well heres what i do to get mine straight.
1st get a shower and wash your hair with thermasilk or another heat-activated shampoo and conditioner
2nd when you get out of the shower dont rub ur hair with the towel instead go down each strand to dry it.
3rdif you want it shiny i learned somewhere that running an ice cube down your hair while its wet or damp will work if you dont wanna rinse your hair with cold water.
4th use a flexible hair spray(any hairspray will work i use flexible hold) and spray one strand of hair with it then straighten that and repeat with your whole head!

ps. i have those like curling things that you wrap your hair around .. if i were to use those, should my hair be wet or dry and how long should it be in there

well if your hair is curly out of the shower just brush it and let it air dry. there are also curl-enhancing shampoos and stuff that you could use. and hot rollers work relle well. another tip is try adding mousse to your hair after the shower and scrunch your hair with your hands and just keep it up. hope i helped
