2. I want my braces to not stand out so much (right now I have hot pink rubberbands) and I was thinking about getting either clear or white rubberbands. But I heard that the white rubberbands make your teeth look yellow. And I heard that the clear rubberbands turn the color of whatever food you eat. Is this true?? Does anybody have clear or white rubberbands that could give me some advice?? Help!! Thanks!! (link)

I had braces. I also tried white, clear, and every other color my orthodontist had. I never found any problem with any color except the white ones. The perfect white of the rubberbands against your teeth will make them look more yellow. So I suggest you choose a clear if it has to be one of those two. If you can use another color, I suggest grey. They'll blend with your braces without making them look bigger like black ones, and they won't make you look like you have paint on your teeth. I believe they're the best choice. Hope I was of some help.

hey i wear contacts and i really want colored ones..but im not sure what color would look good on me..is there any way to try it out without buying them first..? For a really dramatic change go for something like ice blue or grey. It'll mak your eyes stand out. And if you're just looking to go a little lighter without the drama then look at a honey brown. It'll be lighter than your natural color but it won't be as dramatic as the blue and grey.

What people do in my school is take wrapping paper and cover the outside of the locker with it. Then take ribbon and curl it. Make a bunch of strings of ribbon about 6 inches long and tape them together after curling them and stick them to the locker. Take a different colored or patterned paper and write happy birthday in bubble letters and her name. Then if you want you could take a card, have all her friends sign it and then put it in an envelope and stick it behind a flap in the paper on the locker and stick the card underneath with a clue that it's under there so she doesn't miss it. It's fun and a total surprise.

I want to dye my hair a crazy color like blue or purple, and I want to know some good hair products that work for *ahem* ethnic hair ( I'm Black if you haven't figured that out yet) I want something that will be semi-permanent. I also don't want to bleach my hair, I don't want to put too many chemicals in it. So if anyone has any ideas, let me know. (link)

If you don't want to bleach your hair the color won't come out bright. Since I'm figuring your hair is dark, you won't be able to see the color much without bleach. But if you still want to dye it, I believe urban decay makes a special gentle hair dye for hair just like yours. Check it out. If I'm wrong come back and tell me and I'll find a different one.

ok well I have my hair maybe a little above my shoulders and my hair when it dries it dries in like screwed up wavys one side all nice the on f**ked up and I need help school start september 7th and I'm going to my first year of high school I need a look that will make me look great and I'm a lil chubby in the face so I don't know what I can do ne suggestions?? plz help I really need it...I usually don't blow dry but I tried it once and my hair was poofy...lol..help me..

If you can get your hands on a straightener and some gel I think you should get it cut into a long pixie cut. It'll look good with any face structure, and if it's longer and just below your chin it'll draw attention from your cheeks to your neck. And here's a tip for blow drying your hair. Wait till it's mostly dry. Then use a calming hair balm to smooth it out an THEN blow dry it with a medium barrel comb. Oh yeah, and if you can find it, invest in Deep shine bio-marine therapy, phyto-marine lusterizer by RUSK. It takes away the frizz, smoothes and shines your hair, and makes it easier to straighten.

If your hair is blonde you can use lemon juice. It's not a drastic change and it won't make your hair lighter by considerable amount, but if you're going for subtle change and you have a couple of lemons around the house on a sunny day with nothing to do you can lighten it a little bit. Use 1/2 cup of water for each lemon squeezed. Then use a small paint brush (or a q-tip for smaller highlights) and put it on your hair in stripes. Be prepared to wear sunscreen while sitting outside so as not to get sunburned because it's about an hour of sun time for each shade lighter you want to go. And you may have to re-apply it every two hours depending on your hair type.
