Q: okay i have a question for girls... ive got the worst cramps right now.. like i feel like im going to die... does anyody have any at home remedys or somethin to make em go away... i already took 2 tylonol and a calcuim pill... but what else can i do to make em not hurt so bad, or even better, go away!! please help
Try Aleve. Also called Naproxen.

Peppermint also helps. Brew yourself a cup of tea, grab a heating pad, pop an Aleve... and feel better.

Q: ok well my friend told me this:if your around alot of poeple who are on there periods, then your body reacts and thinks that its supose to be to and you have your period, even if its not the right time. is that true or what?
Not 100%. What tends to happen is that girls who spend a lot of time around each other-- usually if they live together, like in a dorming situation-- their cycles will regulate such that they all get their period at the same time. This does not always happen, and there is no actual scientific proof of this, but it does happen. My 3 roommates and I all get our periods within 1-2 days of each other.

Q: I heard that doctors put you on birth control to make your period regular. Other people said they just give you regular medicine to regulate your period. But if I get put on birth control, is that the same one that prevents pregnancy (so I can kinda kill 2 birds with 1 stone haha) and does ALL birth control make you gain weight cause that's a turn off. Thanks.
Uh, yea. ALL birth control will prevent pregnancy. Hence the name.

Q: i have the thickest hair in the world- and it's extremely dry, and it's all one length, and it reaches to the middle of my back, i wanna get it cut really bad- nothing too short- but i dont know what yet. any suggestions? also- i dont know what to do about my hair being so dry. ive tried all kinds of moisturizing this and that- but nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP!
For a hair cut, I would suggest some layers to make your hair more manageable.

As for your hair being dry, use a moisturizing shampoo and a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair. I have heard that mayonaise works, though never had the guts to try it. Try not to go outside when your hait is wet. NEVER heat style your hair. This includes blow-drying.

Q: alright i have a problem sweating and its really gross what can i do for it....will it ever stop
Wash with Irish Spring soap. Use a deodarant with an anti-perspirant.

Q: 14/f

How often should you change the your razor head for shaving your legs/under arms/pubic area? There's nothing on the box. I use Venus if that helps.
Whenever the blade gets dull and you are not getting as good of a shave as you think you should be. I usually change mine about every 10 to 14 days, but I shave every day, and I should probably change it more often. You basically just have to get used to it by trial and error.

Q: I'm thinking about getting the top of my ear periced does anyone know how much it hurts? and if it is worth getting it done?

If you are talking about the cartelige, then no it does not hurt. Other might disagree, but I do not think it does.

Why not get it?

Q: hey ya'll ..i just turned 15 and i was just wonderin..when does your chest usually become fully developed?..like i'm a 34B & iduno i think that's small..but i'm already 15..is that guna b my chest size? or am i yound enough that i'm still developing?..=/..thanx xOx
Its different for every perdon. I have a friend who was finished developing at age 14, whereas I, at 17, am not sure that I am done yet. You might still get bigger. At 15 I was a B/C, and now I'm a D. So you might get bigger, you might not.

Q: Alright. I'm fourteen-years-old and I'm a Freshman, this year, in High School; just to give you an idea of where I am, as far as maturing goes.

No one has ever really spoken to me about health and growing. And I suppose I'll end up learning about this in Sex Ed. but I figured I would get advice, now, anyways.

This afternoon, I started noticing a soreness on the sides and tops of my breasts. I'm not entirely sure what this soreness means or whether or not it's a good thing so that's where I need help.

Is it normal to have sore breasts? Do you get 'growing pains' as you mature, on your chest?

Thank you, in advance, for your help.
Its completely normal. Yes, they are growing pains. You'll also notice the rest of your body changing a lot over the next few years. Have fun bra shopping (that was sarcasm, bra shopping sucks ass).

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.
