ive gained alot of weight in the last few weeks.
I really dont like it,
whats some good ways to exersise, my mom has a tredmile i could run, but for how long??
and whats some healthy things to eat, and when how every so often?

Running is good,and run as long as you can the more you sweat the more you burn.My parents have a Elliptical Machine,it works your arms,legs,and abs basically your whole body.They have them at like all the gyms also.And about the eating,try staying from sugary foods,natural sugar is good for you.Stay away from junkfoods.If you want to diet,I don't know if you have ever heard of it but I was on the "south beach diet" for a while.

ok well i have 10 hours of sleep everyday but two years ago I was depressed for a week and got these bags under my eye but then my sleep pattern went to normal (sleeping gets rid of the bangs..) but it's been 2 years now and it still hasn't gone away and I'm 13 so I don't think i should be getting it right now what's wrong with me and are there any natural ways to hlep this? im poor and female

well i havent measured my weight in a long time [not that long] but from wut i rememebr i weighed like around 110 or 115

and every1 says "oh u need to loose a couple pounds

cause my stomach, [if i dont suck it in] buldges out, but not that much cuz i lost sum weight since last year

my friends say ive gotten skinnier

but my friends DONT kno how to sugar coat things alittle so everytime they saay "no offense blah blah blah blah..... it hurts me

Not at all!
your weight sounds perfect, depending on your height.
Dont listen to your friends, they are comparing you to a super model.
You gotta realize , you have beautiful features they dont have.
I have a low self esteem too, but if your gonna have one , you might as well try and enjoy it as much as possible.
Meaning, if they are gonna make fun of you whether you loose weight or not, do whatever you want.
Its all up to you because they have no say in what YOU should do with YOUR body.
So tell them that, and tell them if they are gonna complain then they dont have to be your friends.
Because friends arent there to make you feel worse, they are there togive you confidence.

It will come naturally, soemtime around the age 11-16?

lol I know how you feel...to some extent.
Im 14 and i barely have my period.
[ive only gotten it like 4 times]
You say you want it for the responsibilty but honestly you should be happier without it.
Trust me,I consider myself lucky.
You dont have to be left out of the convo though.
You can ask questions and stuff and still be included.
You should consider yourself lucky though,theres alot more things you can do without it then with it.
Also , it makes you act drowny and in a bad mood.
But you'll get it eventually, that will deffinetly happen.
And you'll have like 40 years to enjoy it haha

my hair is always frizzy and and it used to stay straight but not it gets all wavy.

i got it highlighted a few times and the person that did it wasn't to great. is that maybe why my hair looks like not good anymore?


it used to be like shiny and smooth not it's just the opposite. will it ever grow back and look normal agian since i stopped highlighting it?

my addvice is to use a good conditioner and buy a pink solia flat iorn it works so good ur hair won't be frizzy anymore if that doesn't work try asking the person who did your highlights

a few months ago my friend ironed my hair with her iron and its really killed my hair so i got the dead ends cut off but there is still dead hair higher up does anyone know what i can go to get it healthier.

usually you dont get dead ends by just straightening your hair,I would only wash your hair everyother day if you arent already.Some good hair products for your hair maybe-garnier frutic,pro vitamin.I would suggest pro vitamin and any bedhead products.THEY WORK GREAT.

What is the best kind of makeup that will stay on for a long time?

Mine wears off in like 30 minutes and it just looks really bad.

I wan't one that will blend in with my skin really good. thanks :)

I use clinque,it last all day long.And i love it,they have all different skin tones and types of lotion to keep the makeup on if you have oily skin.If you need anymore advice don't be afarid to ask,thanks ! - Alex

Well im a fat kid and i am smart and ok at sports. I am on a diet and i have lost 27 pounds. What so you think i should do to loose more weight. I am already going to start playing football to help but what else should i do

If you are already loosing weight from what you are doing then continue what your doing.
Dont over do it, and Dont be diet obsessed.
I [kendra] am personally diet obsessed and it is so horrible to be that way becuase you gain weight and loose weight VERY easily, so try not to be like that.
Exercise is important too, you need to burn the calories that you dont burn off in a day or else it stores to fat and once it gets to 3500 then you've got yourself a pound.
When your exercising , dont over do it.
I tend to do that soemtimes and its not healthy.
30 minutes of cardio vascular activity is what starts to burn fat, usually a good 30-60 minutes is a good amount of exercise.
When you eat, make sure you eat all the food groups and not just certain ones.
You need 2-3 servings of fruit, and 2-3 servings of veggies.
Dont forget proteins and carbohydrates.

There are these red blemishes and acne on the back of my arms. I dont know what they are, but how do I get rid of them? I tried lotion and washing, but it doesnt seem to go away. Help!

Well, you cant get rid of them until you get older but I know some stuff that helps.
What you have on your arms is called Kerapotosis Pilaris.
There is a medication that I used to use that i got from a doctor, but I forgot what its called.
But something that you can use to reduce it alot is called Cortizone.
They sell it at Drug stores and I think its about 5-7 $

im going on a diet. can i have sum of ur tips on exersising and eating healthy?

Yes, I will give you many.
You've come to the right person.
To start off, dont starve yourself.
You dont want to ruin your metabolism, and if you do ruin it , it will be difficult to loose weight.
Eating healthy is actually not that bad at all, and it makes you feel better too.
Stay away from large portions and fried foods, such as going out to eat.
Try making things that are low in fat and calories.
You must start reading nutrition labels now.
Now by eating low fat foods, doesnt mean dont eat fat.
You need about anywhere from 65-73 grams everyday.
Things that are good fat are proteins such as peanut butter, lean meat, etc.
Stay away from saturated fats like butters and cheeses, those are high in cholestrol and load up in fat and calories.
Instead , try eliminating cheeses and using cooking spray instead of butter.
You need 2-3 servings of vegatables a day.
Dont fry them in grease.
Try a can or even fresh stuff.
Depending on what you like.
Fruits you need too, Canned fruits are good but have alot of perservatives so try fresh fruit from produce.
Carbohydrates, such as bread you need too.
But those you have to watch , they will make you gain fat.
Try to aim for only about 300-375 carbs a day.
In each meal , try and watch out for the carbs and if it exceeds 30-45, dont eat a full amount of it.
As for snacks there are many choices.
Pretzels, yogurt, dry cereal[not sugar filled], low fat chips, low fat popcorn,apples with reduced fat peanut butter, bananas with reduced fat peanut butter, granola bars, fruits, etc are all good too.
As for drinks and exercise, personally I only drink water.
Drinking real fruit drinks is good once in a while but they are loaded with sugar.
If you want a different taste of water , i suggest Crystal Light, they have it in MANYYYYY flavors.
Now for exercise, its fun and boring, depending on what you like.
Try to aim for anywhere between 20-45 minutes a day.(or 4-5 times a week)
30 minutes is when your body starts burning fat :]
Exercise you can do in many varities, such as a walk , a jog, a bike ride.
or even sports.
But if you dont like the outdoors, you can try a gym or just walking with your friends at the mall.
You can also do crunches, jumping jacks, and try lifting some heavier things for arm muscle etc.
Dont over tire yourself though, you have to be able to have energy.

Well, if you dont like pads .
And your scared of tampons
You could choose to play sports on days when you dont have your period or on days when your period is lighter and then you can use a panti liner, which is much more comfortable.
If you dont want a pad either way, i suggest you wear thick underwear lol
Unless you take birth control , which stops your period.
But im assuming, your way to young.

Nope, ive never tried it, but ive heard it doesnt.
Im almost 90 percent sure.
If your scared, just use pads until your fully comfortable.

There is many things that could be wrong here.
One could be you have an irritation, that should usually go away naturally just make sure if it doesnt, you use some type of cream.
Otherwise, you might have an infection.
In that case, if it doesnt get better you should go to the gynocologist.

okay so i've got my period now for like 2 yrs now and my mom has been making me use pads because she says that tampons arent healthy but i play alot of sports and its kind of uncomfortable to use pads how can i tell her i want to use tampons??

Well, What I think you should do is hint her.
Make it seem like pads just arent cutting it,
she'll probably get the hint.
And if worse comes to worse, buy tampons yourself.
Ask her for a few dollars to get something, and go to the store or you could ask one of your friends.
But if you still want her to know, tell her its your desicion and you just want to TRY them and if they arent comfortable or just arent right for you then you'll stop using them
