okay so i've got my period now for like 2 yrs now and my mom has been making me use pads because she says that tampons arent healthy but i play alot of sports and its kind of uncomfortable to use pads how can i tell her i want to use tampons??

Well, What I think you should do is hint her.
Make it seem like pads just arent cutting it,
she'll probably get the hint.
And if worse comes to worse, buy tampons yourself.
Ask her for a few dollars to get something, and go to the store or you could ask one of your friends.
But if you still want her to know, tell her its your desicion and you just want to TRY them and if they arent comfortable or just arent right for you then you'll stop using them
