I'm doing Community Service at my church helping out for Vaction Bible School and I'm the teacher of 4-year-olds. I need some ideas on what kid of things to do with them. There are 5 boys and ever so often a girl.
ive made a notebook of ideas,
1)trace and cut out hand stencils of the kids hand. then take an ink pad and dip each finger in there and put it on the corresponding finger on the paper hand.
2)out of the kids, pick out 3 kids and put them on the side.make the other kids get underneath a tablecloth or huge blanket,make them lay on the inside so it's hard to get in from the inside, and have the other kids try to get inside
3)everybody sit in a circle and hold hands, then in the middle of the circle, have a plate of things that the kids can pick up with their mouths. the kids have to keep holding hands, but they have to bend down, one at a time to pick something up, and they only get one chance.
