I am 13 and I am old enough to babysit something i have always wanted to do for a little extra cash!! But i have no clue how to get started how do i get to babysit i have no clue can anyone give me advice? (link)
i would suggest taking a babysitting course to learn CPR and babysitting techniques about many different topics including what to do in an emergency and such if you haven't already. usually a nearby red cross or your local hospital advertises them.
the next step would probably be to put an ad in the newspaper saying that you are available to babysit, how much you charge, up to how many kids you can handle, and what ages of kids you will babysit for.
parents feel more at ease if they know you are certified, so the babysitting class is a good way to possibly get more business.
tell your parents if they both work in an office in town to tell their friends that you might be able to babysit a night that they need you if you aren't already doing something. if you do a good jobwith them, they might recommend you to their friends.
haha sorry i wrote so much, but i hope i helped!

i babysat my downstairs neighbor after school one day only for about an hour and i got $10 well two days ago i babysat from 10am-6pm ;; reminding you im a teen and the parents know i sleep in so it was hard to wake up.. when i babysat i only got $25 and i babysat her for an extra hour & i brought her to the store to buy a pumpkin to carve.. well today i babysat her from 10am-3pm and i still only got $25 again i walked to the store with her and bought $10 worth of crafts (after returning $20 worth of othershit that my mom made us bring back) i dont think i am getting paid enough should i tell the parents? or should i just not say anything and get paid shit.. the parents also know that i babysat my other neighbor and got paid $50 for 6pm to 12am (link)
ok well first of all: the parents in question may think that is plenty. i mean.....you shouldn't expect tnos of money everytime you babysit. i got $20 for a few hours once....more like 4 or 5 for little girl not even a year old, and i was thrilled!
talk to your parents about what you think....some people may have more money to spare for the babysitter, no offence if you took any, just in case. maybe the family doesn't have a lot of extra cash...
be glad that you get paid. getting some money is better than getting none.

i really want to start babysitting, but i dont know what to do. do i need any type of paperwork or something. there arent really any kids in my neighborhood,,, so i dont know how to like tell people that im available or whatever. please help me! (link)
hey i had the same dilemma....try to find a babysitting course that is being held at a local red cross or your local hospital or somehwere else nearby you. you don't need paperwork but i think it would be reassuring to the parents of the kids you might babysit for in the future if you are a certified babysitter.
basically in the classes you just learn how to do CPR and good tips for entertaining the kids and how to be a good babysitter. well....i learned that.
put an ad in the newspaper....and if you take a class put in the ad that you are certified. tell what ages of children you are willing to care fore (preschool age to middle school maybe depending on how old you are is pretty good to start with) and your nubmer and name.
good luck, and leave me a note in my inbox if you need more help!

I started to babysit for money. But there's this evil little kid that is very young (only 6!!) but is verrry perverted. He watches rated R movies, fastforwarding to sex scenes, and he's always trying to touch my parts. I'm 15!! How gross is that?! I told his parents about it, but they wouldn't believe me. He acts like an angel in front of them I guess. I yell at him and everything, but nothing works!!

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? (link)
put a camera like close to the tv to show what you two do, and one behind or pointing towards the tv to show what he watches if his parent's don't know. as logn as his parents aren't harassing you, its probably safe to ontinue babysitting....unless you feel really uncomfortable.
