Thanks for the advice pseudophun. I know it probably shouldn't be a big deal to get beat up by a girl. My neighbor told me the same thing and that does make me feel better.some people tend to still make it a big deal though for some reason, don't Know why? No way I would call her a bitch though if I seen her again lol because I would be dead meat again for sure. She has to know that I'm really afraid of her too. So I don't think she would hesitate to beat me up again. I doubt very much that my friends would help at all either. Fact they would probably be just as scared of her once she starts pounding me. Plus shes usually there with a few other girls as well so we would be outnumbered anyway

Hi I'm a 13 year old boy and the other day I got beat up by a girl just because I splashed her accidentally and got her phone wet. I tried to apologize and even fought back, but she pounded me pretty bad. I'm feeling so bummed and stressed out because I never thought this could ever happen to me by a girl. Now I'm worried about the next time or if I'm ever going to be able to go to the beach again with friends because she might be there and they will find out that she beat me up and will tease me about it and stuff, and what if she beats me up again in front of them? You shouldn\'t feel bad about being beaten up by a girl... this isn\'t the 1940s... girls can hold their own these days...
As for going to the beach again... Don\'t be scared to go. If you see her, just don\'t acknowledge her. If she tries to start something, you just look at her and say, with confidence, \"I don\'t know you. Go away.\" Feel free to add \"crazy bitch\" on the end of that. Then, if she does hit you, you\'ll have your friends there, who will help you out.
Also, you should ask someone to teach you to fight. It\'s never a bad thing to know. Sure, maybe you can hit a little, but you\'d be better off knowing how to dodge in this situation. Dodge and disarm. I believe the YMCA often offers basic defense classes... if you can dodge her hits, stay on your feet, and trip her, then you can yell at her that you don\'t know who she is, walk away, and not have to hit a girl.

Lately I've become slightly addicted to uh.. classical-ish music, I guess? I don't really know how to classify it; I just like various piano / string songs, such as Yiruma's "River Flows in You", Apocalyptica's "Farewell", etc.

I don't know any off the top of my head, but...
Pandora.com is an online radio server that builds your channels based on information you give it. If you type in Apocalyptica in the channel builder and Yiruma, it will search the database for music with similar qualities and give you a good selection of other artists that you might like.
It works like a charm. I love Pandora. Hope that helped.

i got my belly button pierced a couple of months ago and i didnt take care of it properly i guess so i took em out and now there are dark spots at where the piecring started and ended its sooo ugly and its been out of my belly for about a month now is there anything i can do or put on it to meak it my skin color again or somehow i can treat it...its soo hideous i hate looking at it (link)

Get a bleaching kit (like for your hair) and apply it to the area. Don't leave it on if it hurts a lot though (more than likely it's going to be a bit burny in general though).
That will lighten it up. Repeat as necessary, but be carfeul you're not burning your skin OFF.

When I hear thunder...where is it coming from? And where is lightning coming from? It can't just appear out of no where. I've noticed that right after it thunders, the rain gets a little heavier. Does the thunder have something to do with how much rain is let down? (link)

The quick version of this, without getting into all the molecular stuff, is that thunder is the sound of lightning (light travels faster than sound) and lightning is what happens when molecules in clouds bump into each other... some molecules are positive, some are negative and electricity it what happens when they try to balance themselves (same thing with static electricity, actually)

i got my tongue pierced saturday night & now it's wednesday. it's still kinda swollen and sore, but i've noticed when i drink orange juice it burns sooo bad! is it because my tongue is still healing and i guess the acid from the oranges is bothering it? the guy said stay away from spicy foods for a while, but he didn't say anything about juice. will this go away soon? It's the citric acid in the orange juice getting to the still raw wound. It's the same stuff that makes lemons hurt too.
Avoid citrus until it heals up, along with spicy food and massive amounts of salt. You'll be fine in like another week and a half.

I always feel the need to rectify and straighten out ( or I guess reiterate) every little problem, situation, or misunderstanding.
For example: This boy, at my school, about a year ago he told everyone I was stalking him and although everything is cleared up now every time I see him I still feel the need to go up to him and talk to him about it.
When is it best to just let things go?

Let me tell you a couple stories from high school.
There was this guy my friend really liked, so she points him out to me one day and he catches me staring at him. For some reason I started accidently running into him EVERYWHERE after that, and it's not like he didn't notice. About 3 months after the staring incident I called him (thank you student directory) and told him it was unintentional stalking. He didn't really believe me until he realized that I ignored him each time we showed up at the same place. We aren't really friends now but he tends to smile at me instead of freak (for some reason we still run into each other a lot).
That took maybe 6 months to clear out.
From 6th grade to 12th grade there was this girl that made my life hell. We had gotten into a couple fights... which meant I'd cracked her in the face a few times, not really a fight, more like an assault... but we hadn't settled things. So I spread a rumour my senior year of high school that she had syphillis. It was childish and stupid, but I felt better about the situation and don't really care anymore.
That took 7 years to clear out.
The point is, you have to decide the severity of the situation. I'd love to tell you that you should let things go immediately, but let's face it: some things you just can't always let go of. This doesn't sound like too bad of a circumstance, really. I'd just let it go if I were you. I'm sure he's tired of talking about it, because it was a year ago.
If you can force yourself to stop talking about it you'll stop caring about it, but if you can't do that, then you need to find some closure for it, though if you're still talking to him all the time about it, I'm not sure what that closure would be... I'd just let it go. You'll have other things to worry about... Soonly, I'm sure. ^_^

I know that when I was buying these in my youth I would get them at SunCoast. The website still exists and the episodes and movies I bought there were always in a well-dubbed English.

Prostitution is illegal for a couple reasons...
Firstly, it can spread STDs. Really fast. So if the government slaps an illegal sticker on it, they think they can get the STD problem under control... Yeah... I know what you're thinking... I think that too.
Secondly, because we are a religiously based country, no matter how hard they try to separate church and state, prostitution is morally wrong because it is A, sex before marriage, B, disgraceful, and C, can be adultery. So, again, the government thought that if they slapped an illegal sticker on it, they could control the whole morally wrong thing... Woo government.

I keep losing my processions and it's driving me crazy. In the past month I lost my camera, my scientific calculator, my pe clothes, my entire chapter of math homework, these drumsticks I borrowed from someone, a pair of shoes, my favorite vest, and today I lost a friendship bracelet that my friend got me from Mexico.
I never used to lose things though. Does this have some kind of symbolic meaning in my life. Like is this supposed to represent me being "lost" on the inside. Because I have been feeling lost lately, and now I'm losing everything. I don't even know what my question is but I need help. (link)

Yeah, I know I sound totally batty, but I'm a pagan, so it's okay. They tend to steal things. Sometimes they bring them back, sometimes they don't. Leave them some honey-bread and milk and they might bring things back. They can also steal your security, hence the feeling lost.

You can shave it all. I do. Never had a problem.
If it's your first time shaving "the area" then you may notice red bumps pop up. Be sure you put lotion on the thing... It really doesn't like blades. I recommend waxing...
Just be sure you go slow or you'll nick yourself, and that is some painful healing right there.

18/f. I graduated from high school this past May but I am still close with my high school English teacher. I was going through a rough time last year and I went to him a lot. He really understands what I am going through and he is one of the few people I can talk to. I still go and visit him and we can talk for hours on any subject. I trust him with my life (considering he did save my life). Is normal or even okay to have deep feelings for him? Like loving him as a best friend.... It's normal to have some affectionate feelings for him, so long as it's not romantic. I had a lot of teachers like that. By the time I was out of high school, most of my friends consisted of my old teachers, and I really enjoyed the time we spent together. It's normal and okay. I promise.
Older people can be your friend, and they tend to know what you're going through better than your peers. It's nothing peculiar and I'm glad that you've found someone that you can go to for anything.
Technically, because you're 18 and out of high school, if you had other feelings for him that would be acceptable as well, though I don't recommend going after a guy that much older than you ^_^

This was actually a remake.
She doesn't know him in the first one. It's supposed to be shock that there was, in fact, someone in the house that was really trying to kill her.
The old one has a whole series of badly written movies that come after it where Jill is repeatedly the victim of this guy, and I think one other guy.
But no, she does not know him.

When i want to concentrate, i find that my mind is thinking of too many things at once. I find myself thinking of school, friends, boys, etc. all at one time!
This is so hard when i want to study but all this stuff comes to my head! i feel like i have no control over my own mind!
what can i do to only concentrate on ONE thing?
any techniques and symptoms to why i cant concentrate on just one thing?!

A lot of mood disorders have racing thoughts as a symptom, but unless you're having volatile moods I wouldn't worry about that. If you are, see a shrink.
You should relax though. Make some hot tea and focus on the tea, then put on some relaxing music (whatever you find relaxing). Which your brain focusing on tea and music you're more likely to be able to study. If that doesn't work well enough, meditate. It's very new-age, I know but meditation is a great way to zero out those thoughts. Just sit and focus on breathing and relaxing and what color is behind our eyelids.
There are also a few low-dose medications that your doctor can prescribe you to help calm those thoughts. Very low doses of Xanax, for instance. I'm on that right now. Works great, but it depends, of course, on medical history as to whether they will actually give it to you.
Try the tea and meditation first.

The Mayan calendar predicted a lot of things and marked a lot of other things, for instance the sinking of Atlantis on August 12, 3113 BC. These events marked, supposedly, the beginnings and endings of different magical worlds. December 21, 2012 AD will mark the end of the fifth world and the beginning of the sixth world.
In general, no one really knows what will cause the end of the fifth world, as the calendar does not divulge such details, but regardless I don't think the Earth will explode or anything drastic like that. I'm praying it's not a Zombie Apocalypse. Those things scare the hell outta me.
