Tonight 6 or 7 of my friends are having a get together. A few boys and some girls. I have nothing planned! What are some activities we can do? We can't really go somewhere cuz the car doesnt hold that many pple. We're all 13 so keep it age appropriate. Thanks ! (link)

*Go outside if its cold make sure people bring jackets & all. You can play football and just throw it around. Tag ( it sounds childish but it can be really fun!)
* AND if you do go outside for a little while you can come back in and have hot chocolate and talk or...
* Watch a Christmas-y movie or one that isn't your pick.

Why do Americans who have some Irish ancestry in them feel the need to be all proud about it? Some of these people are 2nd or 3rd greneration Americans and have never even left the country. (link)

I'm considerable somewhat Irish and I'm not "all proud" or obsessed or anything but I AM still proud. They have more to be proud of than drinking like you say. There is many things to be proud of, like the beautiful country in general. But its not all good... alot of people are pale that are irish and since "tan" aka being orange but thinking your tan, is in then the pale people are just sort of left to a decision. That is either to be proud of who you are and the skin your in OR try to be fake tan. I prefer the first one.
But besides that, anyone should be proud of their heritage! You wouldn't be you without it. Alot of people are proud of theres like African Americans, all sorts of people that have ancestors from Central America, and definatly ITALIANS. Oh and also Germans and Czechs.

A few weekends ago a bunch of us went gown to Galveston to celebrate a friend getting a full ride scholarship to college. Well, we were, of course, drinking.
I went home with my best friend and he was driving. We both had been drinking. Well, I didn't think anything of it and we were doing fine until we got into our neighborhood and we got into an accident...with a pole. Yeah, you're thinking omg a pole what could have happened. Well, he was speeding and we ended up pretty messed up and my best friend car was totaled. I broke my jaw and are, and cracked my skull.
Well, needless so say, our parents were PISSED. We both aren't allowed to do anything until the end of time.
Looking back at what happened now, I realize how irresponsible we were. And not only could we have killed ourselves but others out of stupidity. We're both DONE with drinking. I can barely even get into a car with out freaking out now.
There is still a huge problem with our parents; they have lost trust in us. Complete trust. I even over heard my mom telling my best friend that she has lost all respect for him as well. Neither one of us has any idea how we can help regain our parents trust. I for one value it and cannot live knowing that they dont trust me. Any one have any ideas? 17/f (link)

I'm not very sure about this one but I'm going to throw out ideas so I hope they will help. You both need to get your parents, sit them down, and talk to them. You can both do it at the same time or different. I don't know if thats what you want to hear but thats what your going to have to do. You need to tell them you know what you did was stupid, wrong, and you are done drinking. Tell them that the accident is over and you can't go back into time. You need to make sure they KNOW all that. Also, if there is any group or club or ANYTHING in your school, church, or any place you go to, that you can sign up for a club about drinking and driving. I know one at my school is called SADD ( Students Against Destructive Decisions). It is mostly about drunk driving though. You could join something like that to prove you know the consequences and your serious that you know you were wrong. Also, you probably aren't allowed to go out because of all this but if you are make sure you are back ON TIME for anything that you go to. Maybe even before curfew or before the time set if possible. And you could help around the house or with dinner. Anything you can do to help out and make their lives easier.
By doing some of those things you could gain back some of their trust but it will take time. By doing all of those things continuously it will help alot. Don't just do it for a week and expect them to trust you fully. Not going to happen. Last thing.... if you had a kid that did that, what would you want them to do to gain back your trust?
I hope you and your friend have learned your lesson which I'm sure you have. Thank God you didn't hit anyone else or kill yourself. You can pray about that. =)

Foundation you use before you use all your other make up and you put small dots on sections of your face then rub and blend in.

I already asked a question on homecoming. But I still need to know more.
I am going to homecoming with my boyfriend of over a year and seven months. He is also my best friend. It is in less than two weeks.
What is a good dress length? Shoes? Purse? How much is appropirate(sp) to spend?
Where should I go to buy the dress for cheap?
Im not getting my nails or hair done, I'll have to do my own because I have work until 4pm on the day of the dance :( I know it stinks) What kinds of accories.
I don't want to be the focus because its at my boyfriends school with all his friends.
What are some things to do to get less nervous? How to make a good first impresstion?
Any tips would be really appreciated.

I already bought my homecoming dress. The length of mine is above the knee. Well it depends.... homecoming COURT ( that is during half time of the homecoming football game or whatever) well their dresses are long. BUT it depends if they say semi-formal then your dresses are like your knee or above but if it is formal then your dress is long. Good stores for cute dresses that are less expensive would be like JCPennys, Dilliards, Macys, etc. Shoes just get ones that match your dress. And only take a purse if you need one.. and if you do, make it small(like a handbag) and try and match the dress.
I wouldn't say to go all out or anything, its not like it is prom or another big thing. I mean yes its "big" but dont spend too much. I got 2 dresses one was for a different dance but on one I spent about 40 because it was on sale and the other I spent about 60. Make sure you get something you feel comfortable wearing! That will be a definant boost in your confidence.
Don't worry about it! Have fun and stop worrying. Be confident, before you go, just keep telling yourself that you look hott, etc lol. You definatly shouldn't worry if your boyfriend is there especially since yall are like best friends, he will be right by your side. Just be confident, have fun, and dance! lol
