my friend alyssa was seeing this guy ryan but they broke up bc she cheated on him. shes in love with this new guy tai they went out brok eup but shes still hooked on him. alyssa doesnt liek ryan any more and says she doesnt care if her friends like him but i feel likeid be betraying her if i did.. me and ryan have been talkin for a few weeks now. just online and on the phone and were making plans to hang out & stuff.. hes such a great guy and has the best personality. do you think its wrong that ryan & i are hanging out and talking??? me and alyssa have been friends for 4 years but she says its ok..i think shes too wrapped up with tai right now but.. i dont want to ruin our friendship at all... what do you advise..??

Well it's never good to go out with your friends ex. But if she said she's ok with it I say go for it. If your friend starts acting funny about it, just talk to her. Explain the situation. If she's a true friend, she'll understand. Hope I helped! Happy Holidays!

ok, i've like this guy for a LONG time, 3 years. We've become better friends over the past 3 years since i liked him and i don't know if he likes me. We see each other at school but only in 3rd period but we talk most of the time since it's art. any ideas? i know i DON'T want to tell him how i feel, it would make everything so much harder and more awkward. If you think i should keep flirting, tell me some ideas. I'm 14, and he's 14. I'm a cheerleader and he's a football player but there isn't ne more games b/c the season is over. should i give up on this guy or stick to it?

If you've liked this guy for 3 years, I don't think you should waste those 3 years and give up. Just keep flirting with him. You might get some of your friends to find out if he likes you. The way I got up the courage to tell the guy I liked was asking him who he liked when I talked to him on the internet. When I asked him who he liked, he would just give me clues. But finally when he asked me who I liked I said you. And I got my friends to find out if he liked me or not. And because I payed attention to him he had liked me the whole time. He was just to shy to show it. So what I'm saying is get up the courage to tell him you like him. If he's really a true friend, if when you tell him how you feel he doesn't feel the same way, he'll understand. Just keep flirting with him and throw hints at him when you can. And then hopefully you will be able to tell him how you feel. I promise you, it's all worth the wait in the end.

There's this guy at my school that I really like, and think I am in love with (I have thought this for YEARS). But I'm afraid to start anything with him because he has kind of been the center of many jokes between me and my friends, and he's not exactly the hottest guy on earth lol. He is kind of short, in fact, I think I'm taller than him. But he's kind of cute in a way and I really like his personality. I know I could probably get a hotter guy, but for some reason I feel like he is the only one I could be happy with. But I am afraid of what my friends will think if I tell them I like him. So what should I do?

I think that you should give him a chance. My boyfriend isn't the cutest person in the world either. But, I got to know him when nobody else would pay any attention to him. And it turned out that i really started to like him. And I couldn't be any happier. You shouldn't care what other people think of you or him. Peer pressure is really hard, but there are really mean people in the world that can do stuff like make fun of you. So, what I'm saying is I strongly think you should tell you'r friends and find out if he's interested in you. I hope that everything works out for the best.
