I can't help liking this girl even though there's all these reasons I shouldn't. I'm going to graduate next year and she's a year younger so she'll still be in high school; she knows I like her and specifically told me that she doesn't like me the same way; we talk a lot on a personal one-on-one level, but when there are others around she hardly pays attention to me. Recently, it seems things are becoming more awkward between us - we talk less and I feel like she's putting up a barrier.
My question is two-fold:
- I know I should probably give up on her, but I want to at least remain friends - is that too much to ask?
- I don't know exactly HOW to stop liking her and wanting her to like me in a more-than-friends manner. (link)

Ok this question has many ways dat it can go. You know what to do its just you dont want it to happen that way.To answer your first question,no its not dat at hard to ask for. You should tell her when you have your one-on-one conversations dat you understand dat she doesnt wanna commit and you would be happy just being friends. She would den understand where you coming from and either tell you whats on her mind or why she is acting that way.She may be feeling dat way because your older den her and dat may scare her dat if she commits you will end up leaving her. Next question, it may take awhile to stop liking her because it doesnt happen with a click of a button. Try to find other gurls dat you feel da same about. Hey your going to college, there's plenty of gurls to match up with. But if you wanther to like you more than a friend just keep being a nice and respectful and she would turn around.

when on a dinner date, how should handling the check go?
should i, the woman, grab the book and look at it, or should i wait until my date picks it up?

Ok before any thing starts da question you should ask is who asked who to go where? secondly it is always the guy who is suppose to get the check because its the law of class but if the check stays there for more den 20 seconds den just pick up the check. HOwever if the man doesnt want to be embarass he would pick da check up.

16/f. Well my problem is with my boyfriend. He is 18 and I really do care about him. We have been going out for about 2 months and things are just not going so well. Like i said i really do care about him but it seems that our relationship is falling apart. The beginning of our relationship was what i thought was perfect. Well it's only been two months so i guess it is still the beginning, but still it seems like everything is starting to change, for the worse, and i can't stand it. I wanna be with him more than anything but its starting to seem like he doesn't wanna be with me. He barely answers my phone calls and never calls me, but when we do talk it seems like everything is fine until he starts acting like he doesn't wanna talk to me any more, which makes me feel kinda unwanted. We used to talk everyday and he would make me feel like i was the only girl in his life and nobody else matters, but recently its like im the only one who doesn't matter. I am just sooo sick of trying with him but i don't wanna loose him. It would break my heart if we didn't make it. Even when we were with each other in person he was so affectionate towards me and now it seems when ever i see him either he is too busy to notice me or he just doesn't want to talk to me. what should i do. If breaking up is not option then da onlypossible other one is to talk to him about. Dont be shy with it. Let him know that your a big woman who takes strong hold of her feelings and oes appreciate it. He thinks because he's 18 now that he's to big to be dealin with someone whose only 16. In this common case its pretty simple that you gotta put your feelins out there. If he keeps flirting with you tell im that you really like him and that if he feels you in the same way then he shoudl stop faking and and ask to get to kno who you really are instead of having a girlfriend that he could care less about. You wanna be the person who doesnt get blame because you was flirting with him but instead he was flirting with you. With giving him boundaries he sees that your really into him and maybe he would give it a chance.

Help!! Mine and my girlfriend's 1 year anniversary is tomorrow, and we're still searching for something to do in the daytime. We have the whole evening and night planned out, making dinner and all that, but we need ideas for what to do during the day other than our usual movie/mall/stay at home.

Well this one can work to ways. One, he thinks of you as a close friend cause you know him better then anybody else cause you spent moretime with him.Or two, he still has feelings for you to. These are both good because you could still work and get to the place that you wanna be. Just keep doing what you do and keep on remincising on the fun times you guys had. Sooner or later he's gonna wanna come back to you.

ok well about a month ago i found out that this guy likes me and that he'd been talking about me to his friends. then he started to hang around me a lot, walked with me to class and even referred to me as his gf to his friends. anywhoz as i got to know him, i began to get feelings for him too, but he didn't believe his friends when they said that i liked him back. well one day we were talking and i just flat out told him that i liked him, but he didn't really answer back..it was just awkward. i just blew it off and pretended that nothing happened. well that weekend we went out on a "date" and had an awesome time and we kept talking alot after that, but the last few days, it seems like he doesn't talk to me as much anymore and when we do he doesn't have much to say...has he totally lost all interest in me and is moving on or just being shy because he hasn't had a REAL gf in a while?? help me please! I mean if she's your best friend she should just understand. and i mean you could tell her that it was just two old friends hanging out but you really dont wanna hurt your friendship with her or him.

In my eyes it seems that he is still hungover his ex girlfriend and its gonna take him awhile to get over it. THis all depends on how bad you want him. If you dont think that you really want him that bad, then just stay as a friend and move on to a better guy; however, if it's killing you then here's what you should do: Step 1 ask you friend if she still likes him in any way shape or form. Also ask how would she feel ifagurl wen otu with one of her friends ex's. If she cool about it then go to step 2 if not then stop because you dont wanna lose your friends no matter what. Step 2 Try to male your feelings none to him unsuspectdly. Make it seem like your caring for his feelings and saying that your liking him at the same time. Example, "I kno how you feel and im sorry what happen i wish there was something i could do to make you feel better." The more sincere you are then you and him would grow to close friends best friends he boy and girl friend. If you wanna take it that far. Hope i was helpful.

Ok, well... my best friend is a guy, and his name is Chris. He's really awesome, and we're really close. I've always thought of him as a brother to me. But lately everyone has been asking me, "Are you two going out?" and "Do you like him?" and everytime my answer is "no." but lately I've been thinking, and I feel weird whenever I talk to him now. Well lets not say love yet. Its more of a like situation. You never thought of him as more than a friend till people started changing your mind. Now when he talks to you, you don't now what to think. The best thing to do is to keep your relationship as friends because you don't wanna risk getting hurt or losing a good friend. I hope my advice was a great asset to your life.

I think you act like that is because you look at the outside of the guy. When you find interest in them you dont see anything wrog butwhen they find interest in you, they try they hardest to impress you which doesn't work. You should more deeper into a guy. What you might think is not cute can actually make you feel good in the end.

In the last week or so, my one guy friend started flirting with me. And on Friday he sat with me and my friend at lunch. He sat by me and kept flirting by me, but I wasn't really thinking of it as flirting cause I didn't think he liked me. Turns out that night when we were IMing each other I said something like who do you think I should go out with and he said me. And i was just like...? And he was like you know I'm serious didn't you notice me flirting with you at lunch today. Then he asked me out and I said yes. Like an hour later he IMs me right when I came back from being away and said hey (my name) i was thinking and I like another girl too. And I don't wanna be going out with you when I like another girl too. So sorry but i guess its over. Does anyone have any idea why he did that in the first place? Or if it was just a joke? Or what?

This happened it to me. First of all, if he wanted you to call him that means you are going to have a conversation. It doesn't matter who calls who only what's gonna happen if or when you call. To start of the conversation you can ask him how life has been treating him, if he's booking them girls, questions that tell you what has been occupying his time. See if he still has those feelings that you do. If he does then you wanna ask a question that would bring up old memories like so did you enjoy...... then say do you remeber when me and you...., but if doesn't just move on to a different topic. If he replies, with the memories, then tell him how you really felt about him, and ask him how he felt.
