My boyfriend and I are both 18 and have been together for almost 6 years now. He's not really the type to express his feelings and that really bothers me. Lately things have been getting quite bad, where I'll ask him questions that can simply be answered with a yes or no like, 'Do you want me to come over tomorrow?' He won't give me an answer, he will just simply reply with 'What do you want to do?' or, 'I don't know.' It's getting really annoying, it's like I'm talking to a brick wall! I do admit that I get angry with him when he does this, which most of the time starts a fight. We broke up 5 days ago because I found out he still loved his ex. And we both decided he needed sometime to think. I was very good to him and he and I both know that so I know I can’t change his feelings about his ex but I do still like him a lot and want to get him back. He texted me yesterday and asked how I was doing how my day was and other stuff. Eventually the convo got boring to where he said “yep” and I never replied. After the small talk of hey and what's up he asked me why were his ex ((who is how i found out he still loved her, she was so kind to tell me (not being sarcastic) ) and I texting the other morning and I told him she just wanted to make sure i was doing okay.
Then he has the nerve to ask me " are you ok" i told him I dont know I guess so. He says how do you not know and I told him I didn't want to talk about it. He asks why and I tell him why would I talk about it then he responds by saying well I was just asking.
Can someone please explain to me why does he care. He let me go so why would he care how I am doing? He loves his ex. I am almost positive he doesn't even like me or anything. Why would he want to know or even care if I am ok? by the way if this helps, He is 17 and so am I. and I don't want to get into all the details but he took something of mine he will be someone I will never forget. If she is happily taken then there is a very small possibility that they would ever get back together causing him to be heartbroken so it's basically kind of like karma. Remember that you're strong and you can handle and go through the situation too. Since he asked you the question, he may care to see if you were alright. Long story short he says he still loves his ex. His ex is fully committed to her boyfriend and she will never get back with him. I told him he needs time to think about all this and he agreed he said he would like some time and that he is still here for me.

Wow....sounds like you really like the guy. It is truly hard to feel like someone you really love doesn't love you the same way as he loves the other person. This is big but remember that if you truly love him, you would want him to be happy. I know you must think like 'what does this bitch know?' while reading this comment but trust me. I dealed with this shit and drama for a lifetime to know what to do. I would move on. There are tons, TONS of guys out there. Search for the perfect one that would love you forever. It may not be easy but life is longer than you think. And if your boyfriend actually chooses you over his so called ex, then it was meant to be. There isn't anything wrong with crying either. Sometimes, us girls need to release our sad feelings and crying is one way to do it. 14/f almost 15 but this guy who i've known since like elemtary school, beleive it or not i've never really talked to him maybe a sentence or two whatever but now we have like every class together and all of a sudden he just started talking to me and hes cute so we started talking and i like him AS A PERSON not the other way, at least not now. and now he'll keep trying to talk to me first, and he always stands in front of me of where im trying to walk in class and he knows that i hate that, or sometimes when im talking to my friends he'll just come over and like jump in and insult me, and my friend goes you can't just come over here and start insulting her it was pretty funny though. or especially he mocks me. im like your are so annoying but we were joking like that. and we were walking through the halls together and i would try to go in front of him and he would step in front of me, basically he just does things to annoy me! and i get really annoyed quickly. and sometimes when im sitting in class he sits diagonle behind me i can feel him staring at me and its kinda weird. i mean i like him as a guy friend but i get the feeling he likes me more than a friend. I feel like he’s always trying to make conversation/small talk but he ends getting nervous ( at least that’s what It looks like) and he just blurts out random things when im like ok?? Haha he’s always trying to get a rise out of me and make me laugh or get me annoyed at him and I don’t know why? Haha but im not sure if he likes me like that or just as a friend. Also whenever I feel him looking at me I look at him and ask him like what? Or what are you looking at? Usually I wouldn't jump to conclusions but seriously?? It's pretty obvious he likes you. Maybe you'll end up liking him back if you stop being awkward around him. Being friends is one thing but denying having feelings for your friend is another. You wouldn't be talking about him if you cared so much, you wouldn't be posting your problem online if you didn't care about him so. Deep inside, you do have feelings, just don't deny it.
