Well, I know what you're talking about. Maybe he is just not ready to have a relationship or he might not know what he wants yet. Believe me, people get like that. Give him time, and then go back and ask him again. The thing that is weird is that he isn't paying any attention to what you have to say, which in my point of view, Seems like he doesn't care anymore. Well, If you really love this guy, than you can just drop everything that you have that reminds you of him, Spend more time with your friends, Get them to show you other guys. Remember, love has to heal. It doesn't just disappear when you want it too. Another thing you can do, is pick apart the good things from the bad things that he has done and try to think of the bad things and think about how you can get somebody better. But, the best thing I would do, is try to go out and chill with other boys. It should get your mind off him real quick. I hope I've helped.

I am 19 years old and have been seeing a girl for 2 and a half years. We recently broke up over christmas but have still been seeing each other because we get on really well as friends. I put my cards on the table so to speak and told her how i feel that i still love her and i want her back. She replied im still in love with you but i dont want to be in a relationship at the moment. When we see each other i keep on saying to her that i will get her back and she agrees with me she says we need time apart. Which i am willing to do if it means i get another chance becasue i really do care about her so much. The only thing i am scared of is there is another lad on the scene whos she assures me they are not seeing each other and just friends which i beleve, but im scared that when we are having our time apart she ends up having feelings for this lad and i wont get her back at all. What is the best way to go about trying to get her back? We went to the pictures lastight and it was goin brilliant then her phone went off and it was a text msg off this lad and her attitude towards me totally changed!
Well, You just have to trust her, but ask her how she feels about him, although it may not be a true answer, you may be able to find out by her reactions. Just the best thing to do is tell her that you're scared you might lose her. I also thought, that maybe she just wants some time along to meet new people, not like find another boyfriend, but just go out and have some fun with people.
