ok..I have scoliosis and my mom says doing pilates or yoga would help..would that really work?

I'm a bit overweight and so I've always been a little bit embarassed to exercise in front of people. It seems to just make things worse for me, because then I don't feel like I get enough exercise in the day, but I hate running because I'm slower and always afraid somebody will see me, and I don't even like doing stuff at home because my mom and dad might see me. Any good tips for conquering my fear or ways to exercise alone?
i had the same problem and what i did was i went im my room aND danced to music and if my parents saw they wouldnt think i was workin out theyd think i was danceing and having fun or you can ride your bike take a walk with friends or just say gonna take a walk and run if people see you what are they gonna do they should admire you for your hard work and trying to become healthier .
How can a get a tighter butt, stronger stomach, stronger arms, and stronger legs.
I'm not fat, I'd just like to be stronger.
walk / squats / run / jog / and if you have stairs just use two and then just go up and down up and down even 1 step or if you want faster results go up a flight of stairs / walk up a hill / run up a hill / hope i helped / Steph

eat healthier and do 20 crunches throughout the course of the day and even if the scale dosne go down dont worry you might be ganing weight because of mucle .. Steph
i joined lacrosse and my legs hurt really bad from running.. how can i make it feel better?? and do you have any lacrosse tips?
you should stretch daily and you shoudl try and run at least 1/2 mile a day to get your legs usto running also just relax and youll get usto it .. Steph
